Complex ryhthms, lost of time shifts and poly rythms. Think prog rock, but more punkish sort of. I find it very jazz influenced, especially in the drums.

A lot of us questioned Newsday's decision to start charging for their online content. We were right.

After 3 months, only 35 people have subscribed. The Dolans spent $4 million dollars redesigning and relaunching the site. The return on their investment has been ~$9,000.

Let's see if the NY Times fares any better next year.

As crappy as the Isles have been playing recently, at least they're better than the Dartmouth Big Green. Getting rocked by Princeton, a big rival, is pretty bad. Plus I was almost escorted out of the arena for throwing a tennis ball on the ice after the first Dartmouth goal (it's a longstanding tradition, and I was one of about 1,000 offenders--I just happened to be the one right next to the usher.)

I believe you are talking about YOUR man...

hey there are some nice guys up here on Long Island for you

come back to your homeland

ha ha!

seriously I am sorry to hear that, just think that this or that many jerks makes you one closer to finding that one right guy. Remember all people/women/men deserve to be happy, especially when it comes to relations and that YOU -KristylovesBatesBergieSnowYashinChowKozlovTavaresD PBironRoloson deserve to be happy and not so aggravated

So believe it, you deserve not to be so angry that you have to vent on here or anywhere.

That number doesn't include those who already subscribe. I would assume that shift came with a subscription hike.

Asuming isles miss the playoffs this year, come back with lowest payroll next season n miss the playoffs will Wang be holding snow n gordan accountable by firing them or will Wang just focus on his city n china hockey dreams rather then be concerned with wins n losses?

You’re a beaut, eastonhockey. To answer your question, Charles Wang is not going to fire Garth Snow under any circumstances for a very long time. Snow will determine Gordon’s future. I expect Scott will be back next season no matter what. As a close observer of this team, you probably knew the answer to your question…CB

Yeah, I've seen his name popping up in the comments section of Point Blank for a couple of weeks now. And with the same schtick of course. TMC has also found a happy home over there as well.

Just got tickets to see The Specials at Terminal 5. Pretty happy about that.

You know, years ago when you would think about certain bands from the past, you would have never expected them to get back together to play shows. Now, it's just so commonplace; expected even.

Next big reunion show should be Soundgarden sometime this year.

Knee is getting done tomorrow. Now I will be looking at two knee replacements later on. Brutal.

Debating whether to tell the doc to knock me out all day long so I don't have to watch the game tomorrow night. That will make me feel even worse.

Just for the day? Dude... if I were you, I would ask to be put in an induced coma until April 11th.

In all seriousness though, good luck man. Hope all goes well.

Hope your wife does some 'mouth to south' for ya while you're recovering.

I hope everything goes well Fanatic. Make sure that whatever you get for the pain will at least make you not care about the results of tomorrow's game even if you decide you do want to watch it.

A really great flash game called Dark Cut 2. you are the civil war surgeon & you are performing surgeries on the battlefield. If you ever played Trauma Center for the DS or Wii then you'll find this game very familiar, but this is far more realistic & gruesome.

Wow dude. Surprised to see you posting. Anyway... take some pain meds. They will make you feel glorious. You won't even get angry when the Isles lose 7-1 tonight. You will just laugh and pass out.
