Any questions for Jaroslav Halak ?

Yup. The time has come for me to take one of my fellow favorite team prospect and interview him. I'll probably call him this week if everything go as planned and I wanted to know before I do so if you have any questions for him.

(Dire que j'ai écris un article sur un joueur des Leafs avant un joueur du Tricolore Embarassing.)

(I will probably do Max Lapierre in 2 months)

Hey that's great Ricky. I guess there's lots to ask but I'd like to know a bit about how the people of Slovakia follow the WJCs. Do they follow it at all? Are they optimistic about the developing program for upcoming tourneys? Maybe ask about Valabik - not overtly about the hit - but just how his tournament was. Who's Halak's favourite goalie all-time? Maybe who's the most underrated player in Slovakia? Did he start minor hockey as a goalie? If so, is the system rigid in terms of position development there? Most embarassing hockey moment? Hah, I could go all night but must sleep. Anyway, congrats and good luck!

Did he gives himself a certain amount of years to reach the NHL before returning in Europe? How patient would he be?

Fowards can really be friends because their is a lot in a team. But what about goalie? Can goalies be friend together in the minors where they are 5 or 7 to fight for an eventual 1 or 2 places with the big club?

Is it tough to wish a victory to the other goalie of your own team when you're in a fight with him for a future spot on the Big Club?

Is it tough to communicate with de D-men in the Q, with the language barrier? How does he do it?

Did he makes some friend at the Habs' developpment camp? Who is he looking for to play with?

I just have a couple:

A lot is made of the adjustment to playing hockey in North America, how has he found the move personally?

What are the areas of his game that he feels he has to work on to make the move to the next level?

How often does he get in contact with Gainey, Timmins, etc.

Did he have much chance to get to know other Habs prospects around the Q and at the WJHC.
