It's really not Tort's fault that there on complete idiots on this team like Rozy, Redden and Higgins. I get angry that he still puts Kotalik on the point (he is beyond a detriment on the powerplay now) but he shouldn't be canned for just that. Honestly he has nothing to work with, because this team is built like ****.

Stop overreacting everyone!

We have the 3rd best prospects in the league! Montreal was ranked 2nd three years ago, and just look at where they are now!

And Sather is totally going to learn from his free agent mistakes, look at the great job he did this past offseason!!!

Youre right, he shouldnt be fired. He shouldve never been hired.

The guy is a complete windbag.

This team is a ****ing disaster, no doubt. But the effort isnt there and thats whats most concerning. Thats on the coach.

No effort whatsoever. Sather is King of the Idiots, but that doesn't mean the players can't at least work hard and show some effort. That's on the clown behind the bench.

The Islanders are a bunch of no talent a** clowns, yet they go out most nights and at least work hard.
There is more talent on that team than you give credit for.

Streit, Witt, Okposo, Tavares, Moulson, Bailey, Roloson, Dipi etc.

Let's be real.

Uh what? Last I checked, Montreal is just as mediocre as we are. And while they have some good young players they certainly don't have a rock-solid core of youth like a Chicago.

How is that comparison a good thing?

You would think Ranger fans would know this by now. I've been telling my friends for years that nothing will turn this organization around other than the G.M being fired.

It's amazing he's NEVER held accountable. Other people are doing his job. No one knows where he is. It's unbelievable.

While Sather should be fired, Tortorella should have been canned after the playoffs last year. The guy is an immature brat who has obviously lost these guys. Fine, yell, but yell at someone or something that might change what's happening.

Yelling at Avery during the 6-2 win was plain stupid. Both calls on Avery were pretty weak. Yet he didn't yell at the officials in Montreal after the 2-0 goal (bad call on Gaborik, no call on DZ). Show some life and show you have the team's back.

Girardi was confused over whether or not to jump in to protect Gaborik. When hockey instinct can't take over there, something is in these guys' heads.

Your right, cause the guy is the one getting out there on the ice playing.
The players don't give a ****. they didnt give a **** under Renney, and they dont give a **** under torts, but oh wait if we change coaches again mid season, the players will magically give a **** about THAT coach! sound logic!

It's an absolute joke that people are wlling to blame Torts. That's going to be 2 coaches in 2 seasons. It's from on top; we can't keep firing coaches because of an incompetent team that has been assembled.

I'll give you Streit, Okposo, and Tavares...okay maybe DiPietro.

Witt is a journeyman, Moulson is having his one season, Bailey is a third line forechecker with speed (a poster child for an expansion era player). Okay sem-talented a** clowns.

Sounds like you have some kind of ax to grind.

Did Tortorella kill your dog or something?

It's quite moronic that you and others want a coach fired cause you don't like his post game press conferences. And lets be honest that's what it is....

You mean Josh Bailey is not the next 100 point elite playmaking center?

Seriously, the guy is pretty good, but I doubt he'll be turning into Marc Savard anytime soon
