Watch the media say Price is unprofessional. That his acting like a kid after losing an important game and blabla.. Rather mocks the journalist than stopping pucks.

Wait, bergeron who defended Price last night is saying he doesn't like the hug he gave to Markov?

What?

Talk about everything you do is under the microscope. Holy crap, he can do NO right.

BREAKING NEWS. Price picked his nose. WHAT UNPROFESSIONALISM.

You are hard on yourself. Maybe you could try listening to something else?

They mailed the game in last night. The last thing I expected to see today was the players clowning around for the media.

The problem with this team is a serious lack of focus!

Damn straight.
I heard that too, I hope the media realizes how low the teams considers them to be. Markov being the player everyone including the media calls our next captain, to have him speak them down like that...they really are lower than dirt.

Good point but who knows what happened after the game, maybe it got real ugly.

The team should be bonding and laughing it up. If they dont, they will they be losing it off the ice as much as on it as well, which usually leads to one player getting out of town.

During that interview, I really felt that Markov wanted to say more about how they're supposed to be helping them now because they're going through a tough time, but because of his English he held back a bit. I just love how they were pretty much mocking the media though, haha.

Yeah nevermind the fact that they were supposed to have a day off today and Martin hauled them into practice instead.

Good move by Price and Markov.

They have to quash media discussions over divisions within the dressing room before they spark real divisions in the dressing room.

Or... if there were real divisions in the dressing room, doing this is important to make Gainey and the team's life easier.

A hug at the end of practice is a "serious lack of focus"?

Thats the type of goalie i want on my team.. fun, characteristic guy that makes light of situations and yeah youre gonna say but he needs to be a goalie and do his job, but guess what hes still really young let this guy develop.. play halak as the #1 goalie for the majority of the remainder of the season and price as the backup its fine

L'an dernier, Mike Komisarek avait imité le cri d'une vache avant l'entrée des journalistes dans le vestiaire comme pour dire "laissez entrer le troupeau."

From Michel Bergeron's blog. Even though I hate Mike, that's funny

The press and all the ridiculous scrutiny are driving Price out of Montreal in a not dissimilar fashion to how many other talented players were pushed out.
Price's hug is like when he raised his arms to the crowd last year...he's pissed. Markov said it best, we should be alot less critical about this team and alot more supportive. There's alot of parity in the league, everybody is having trouble winning all the time.

Yes it is. They should be keeping their eye on the prize. The day after I screw up at work, I'm all business and focus. The same goes for most professionals. It's a natural reaction when working in a team environment where the pressure to get things done is high. It's all about getting back on track to meet targets... Hell, I've even seen people wear suits in to work (when they didn't have to) after a bad day to help themselves refocus. The fact that these guys aren't all focus and determination after two extremely poor showings is a definite cause for concern.

You laugh and joke around when things are going well, not when the team isn't performing at near 100%...
