I like Mueller and would move something to get him, but the Flyers aren't in a position to be dealing roster players, nor do we have the prospects and draft picks to be very active at the deadline.
Thats not what Homer would do though. Personally, Id rather not trade anyone, but if we are 5-8 seeding, Homer will make some kind of trade. So far, as our GM, he has never not traded during the trade deadline. Its what he does.

Montreal deal none of their picks ; we need MORE. If one of your 41 trade proposal happens.... Bravo.

Thanks for the OP. Now all of my anticipations are set to rest.

And my productivity on March 3rd just increased.

My team will still suck though.

If Kovalchuk would sign for 5 years at $8.8 mil per, the Thrashers would have resigned him ages ago.

The only leaf trades i'd do are the ponikarovsky and primeau deals. We are looking for quality as opposed to quantity for Kabs, and that LA deal only has 1 piece i'm interested in.

I have never seen a longer list of trades that make zero sense.

I like most of those trades as well. Only thing is, if we trade for Kovy I would want the 1st to be conditional on the Blues re-signing Kovalchuk.

Harding is an upgrade over Mason. Combine better goaltending with Kovalchuk's offensive production and I think the Blues make the playoffs.

We get:
Ilya Kovalchuk
Justin Jokinen
Mike Weber
BUF's 2nd
Josh Harding
NYR's 3rd
PHX's 2nd
PHX's 4th

We give:
Patrik Berglund
Brett Sonne
STL's 1st
Paul Kariya
Jonas Junland
Chris Mason
Keith Tkachuk

Unfortunately I think it's unlikely we get Kovalchuk.

I'd do both Ottawa deals, but I'm pretty sure both Edmonton and the Islanders would say hell no.. If Ottawa doesn't get rid of Cheechoo or Kuba, they definately can't afford Souray.

This has to be one of the most entertaining threads I have ever seen, this must have takin you hours to put together. Good job.

- Carolina deals Ray Whitney and Stephane Yelle to Colorado for TJ Hensick and a 3rd rounder.

Not a bad deal but would want to dump someone like Svatos or Tucker as well.

- Colorado deals a 3rd rounder to Washington for Shaone Morrisonn.

Deal, no take backs. I know we dont need any defencemen but he is a big, good stay at home defencemen. I'm pretty sure we could move some body's around to make room for him. I just cant see Washington wanting to give him up for so cheep though.

"Morrisonn has begun to prove himself as a tough, stay-at-home defenceman. During the 2008 NHL playoffs, Morrisonn played every game with a broken jaw and a separated shoulder as the team's number one defenceman."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaone_Morrisonn

We only have one 3rd round pick so maybe change the 3rd in the Canes deal to a 4th.

How does Karlis Skrastins at around 1.5 sound?
