Ken Holland doesn't trade 1st round picks anymore and if he did, it wouldn't be for a guy like Hagman. The Wings have no cap space so it would have to be $$ in and $$ out.

I remember hearing Holland a few weeks back on Hockey Central (I think it was) stating he can't afford to move picks this season like he has in years past (or something like that).

I can't imagine him being interested in such a deal. I think he makes minor moves.

who, in your opinion is an available player at this draft that would be worth a 1st?

Not sure, but the Wings don't need Nik Hagman.

He's good and all but he really is not something we need to give us that extra push and most certainly he is not worth us giving up a first for him. He might be able to fetch a first elsewhere but he's not that valuable to us.

Fair enough, I thought he'd look good in Detroit's system, and that 1st will probably be near the bottom of the barrel

Don't think so, unless Detriot does something to turn it around it will be in the beginning to middle

I like Hagman, but he doesn't fit Detroit's needs. Pass.
