But I would also love to see Weber up.
Well I would love to see Subban, Carle, Weber and O'Byrne all year long instead of signing Gill, Spacek, Bergeron and Mara. But true, they didn't have a great pro camp.

Well, duh, not NO pressure to the point where if he messes up every shift no one will care. There's always a degree of pressure. I'm just saying that if Boucher thinks he deserves a call-up he should be, and we shouldn't fall into this baloney of "we're going to ruin him if" scenario.

I'm with you on that one. What do we have to lose? He will be sent down immediately whn spacek will be ready to come back. Let's inject enthousiasm in this fade hockey club.

Right? It just seems logical to me. But like i said, maybe someone like Weber has really improved and is more ready. Only Guy Boucher knows.

I'd really like to see PK, it's a win win for everyone imo. He doesn't have to stay up once everyone is healthy and what if he has the SKOST effect that seemed to boost the 2008 Habs. At least we would get to see where he is in his development.

I don't have the stats but when Sergei Kostitsyn was called up from Hamilton midway through the season the team went on a tear to first place in the conference. Sergei was in the thick of it and put some decent points up, he just seemed to complement the lineup nicely.

I want to see Subban, we need a spark. This poll is a bit flawed, isn't Carle broken again?

Well we saw what happened with Pacioretty. If PK gets called up, I wouldn't be surprised if they use him like MAB.

Id love to see Subban up just for a couple games, give him a taste of the speed and power of the big league and give him a better idea what he needs to work on to prepare for it IMO. A couple games wont hurt, anymore then that and then it could backfire, then again he could come up and put up 5 or 6 points in a couple games and surprise the living crap out of us. Who knows, but I see Weber getting the call.

The mistake with Max was not him being here--it was the length of his stay. martin should have realized that he wasn't developing or giving anything substantial to the team and told gainey exactly that. if he did, well its on gainey for not making a change. frankly i dont see the Pacioretty situation as being that big a deal; he tried for a little more than half a year, it didn't work out, and he got sent back down. It's not like Latendresse where 3 seasons went by and you could see he just wasn't coming into his own.

Bottom line is that the only way you can ruin Subban's development is if you have him play minimal minutes in the NHL over a long period of time when he's too young. i don't think thats going to happen.
