Cutting a stick.. buut

I know cutting sticks makes the stick that much less flexible, and I understand..

but whats the scoop on cutting down two piece sticks?

they are stiff enough as it is,, but will cutting down a TWO piece be any different then a one piece?

Absolutely not. The flex point and thus the affected flex rating is located in the shaft of the stick, whether is be a one piece or two. The blade is there to look pretty. To resume, cutting down a 2 piece is in no way any different than cutting a one piece.

Nice to see the first response negate any other possible answer or response and effectively killing the thread most righteously with a pinpoint perfect answer.

nice job

Well if the blade wasn't there to look pretty, one would have a mighty difficult time doing anything other than stick handling with the puck!

But everything else was spot on.
