I bet 9 on win number 9.

I'm guessing 2-1 with Michalek scroring the game winner!

If memory serves I think the Sens have had a hard time with Montreal on these "Hockey day" afternoon match ups against Montreal...

Go Sens!

How epic would it be for Michalek to score the game winner for win #9.

Afternoon matches perhaps, but two years ago they won 6-1.

But hey, I hear Kovalev likes Hockey Day in Canada afternoon matches.

Everyone please be careful with the vcash betting!! If everyone bets in favour of the Sens, which is what it looks like according to the stats, then there won't be enough money to pay the winners. Please even out the betting so there is enough to pay those who win.

I really hope they aren't too over confident. Playing a bad team, desperate to get back into the hunt on national tv. Seems like a trap game.

Heading out to SBP in a bit, it's gonna be a blast! Definitely cannot give Habs fans the satisfaction of ending the streak, so the Sens gotta bring it again.

GO SENS GO!!!

What are the odds of winning 8 straight games in today's NHL, in regulation, assuming that the probability of winning a game in regulation is like 55% or something?

The odds are low. If you could assume it would be approximately 55% chance of winning (all other factors ignored), it would be (.55)^8 = 0.83 % chance of winning eight in a row. 9 in a row, 0.46% chance.

For the vCash bettors--- I put a couple chips on Mtl, not because I want them to win, but because I want you folks to have something *to* win.

I'm a Sens fan all the way.

SensVenom is right though. Montreal has been struggling lately and those teams are always the most dangerous.
