upwards of 400 thrashers fans are supposed to be at this game, at least that was the case before all of your roads iced over, have fun guys.

Substitute O'Reilly for Goc. Marcel is out still and one has to hope Belak remains on the sidelines...

Looking forward to watching the game tonight. Hopefully the boys can break the streak and improve the collective mood of the fan base a little in the process.

Again, first goal will be critical tonight...

Yeah, I hope everyone leaves early and takes their time getting to the rink tonight. Everyone stay safe out there today and especially tonight driving around.

Dad and I are going. I've also got a gathering in Murfreesboro at 10 tonight so I'll be heading there right after the game. I'm hoping between the 4x4 and the cities/state working through the day to improve the roads I'll make both. I'm also hoping pre-sales were good enough to help with the numbers because walk-ups are gonna be crap. If I didn't already have tickets I'd probably wuss out.

I suggest posting random road reports for those thinking about going to the game if you have the ability. Might be helpful.

As of right now there is pretty much no chance for me to make it to the game. The sleet/rain last night has made the driveway completely impassable.

same here ... 4 inches of packed ice isn't exactly an intelligent idea to try and drive on

Preds win 25-2. Weber and Hornqvist with all the goals.

my car's been giving me fits lately so i'd rather sacrifice the small bit of money i payed for tickets and not try to make it. i was going to have to go through chattanooga and webcams of it looked like the roads were completely iced over. not about to drive through that in a beat up old accord with no 4wheel drive

Yeah, and coming from Chattanooga you got a little thing called Monteagle which is NOT a nice thing to drive if icy.

Try going to Alabama and then head north on 65

Was planning on getting the Black and Blue ticket package, but I doubt I'm getting out tonight. I live in Columbia, and I've heard it's horrible around here. It iced almost all last night.

Automatic door locks are useless when your truck is encased in nearly half an inch of ice. Took me 45 minutes to de-ice the thing enough to see clearly.

I live in Mill Creek, which is like 2 mins from the high school, and 10 from Spring Hill altogether.

We're going to get it tonight and end up going. I cannot believe that 31 only has 1 lane cleared. I'm hoping 65 is better.

Well I'm headed out now. Four wheel drive is working, all windows and mirrors are de-iced, and I've only busted my butt 4 times so far in the driveway. Gives a whole new meaning to Black and Blue night.

Thuresson reassigned to Milwaukee this afternoon, he was recalled on an emergency basis, therefore that means that Ward will return to the lineup tonight...

http://predators.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=515583

Expecting Wardo to rejoin the second line making the lineup...

Sullivan - Arnott - Hornqvist
Smithson - Legwand - Ward
Erat - O'Reilly - Dumont
Jones - Spaling - Tootoo

Unless...Thuresson recalled means that Belak is dressing tonight...that would be a major bummer...

Update: Just saw this on Twitter...

Quote:
Thuresson sent back to Milwaukee equals Ward back in the lineup.Pekka in net... Preds need a quick start vs. this high flying Thatshers team

-NHLPredsInsider
That makes me feel a whole lot better!!!
