Weird statistic for the day: Every team in the SE is on at least a two game winning streak.

WSH Won 8
ATL Won 2
FLA Won 2
TBL Won 3
CAR Won 3

The Caps appeared yesterday at the elementary school that I grew up attending.

Quote:
Washington Capitals center David Steckel and Slapshot visited Wayside Elementary School in Potomac, Md., on Thursday, Jan. 28, to treat the winner of October’s Caps@School contest to a Chipotle Mexican Grill Burrito Party. Steckel answered some questions and played games with the 27 second-grade students before they dined on the Chipotle Mexican Grill burritos.

The students won the Chipotle Mexican Grill Burrito Party because their teacher, Andrea Monica, submitted a complete lesson plan to the Caps@School website. Mrs. Monica’s second-grade class did the Caps hockey-themed, fourth-grade math lesson plan. The hour-long party concluded with a classroom photo, autographed player cards by Steckel and a gift bag from the Capitals.

Educators interested in enrolling their class in the Caps@School program this season can do so by logging onto CapsAtSchool.com.

That's a real school? Thought it only existed in Louis Sachar's twisted imagination.

Per TSN and Twitter, Green gets three games.

From Mike Green to TFS. Can this team win without its good luck charm in the press box. That is to be determined.

Is Bradley out for sure? As far as I can tell, he just didn't practice...

Is Bradley confirmed missing for tomorrow? I know Tarik says he "remembered" Semin taking Bradley's 4th line shifts late last night, but I could have sworn that Bradley was out with Steckel on that last PK with Knuble in the box.

I assume Downie's game last night (which I think may be from disrobing) is not suspension worthy.

At least we'll have Erskine for this game. I assume he'll be keeping an eye on things. Of course, Tampa will probably try to get Erskine to fight with Konopka so there's noone left to deal with Downie....
