Avery's goal last night was the first time I've celebrated a Rangers goal in a long time.

My fire is back, I hope the teams is too.

I still have faith...

wow. on the posted roster they have 7 rookies and a handful of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year players.

Matt Duchene
Ryan O'Reilly
T.J. Galiardi
Ryan Wilson
Brandon Yip
Chris Durno
Ryan Stoa

Rather I should say the only players with more than 4 years of experience on that list are...

Wojtek Wolski
Marek Svatos
Milan Hedjuk
Darcy Tucker
Adam Foote
Scott Hannan
JM Liles

the same number of how many rookies they have!

I've actually given up staying up past midnight to watch this garbage, really isn't worth losing sleep over.

As for the game; why break with tradition, loss.

Avs have lost 2 in a row. Let's hope they bounce back huge tonight!

We got the Sens back on the road to glory. I'm sure the Avalanche are looking forward to their 9 game win streak using the Rangers as their propellers.

That would be an understatement. He is currently shelved with shoulder injury. Out indefinitely

Both are currently injured and out of the lineup.
Go easy on us....

Is that a joke?

Or you haven't watched us recently

Hoping to watch Duchene have a great game though, one of my favorite players out west.

Oh you know we will. This is the best team in the west right now. GAME OVER - next, a loss to the Kings.

8-1 Avs

This is going to be one of those games where it's just funny how bad we play. (like the 10-2 loss to the Stars last year)

These games all seem like a win-win now. If we win the game, that's awesome (of course I am rooting for this option.) However, if we lose the game it's closer to (hopefully positive) changes and a higher draft pick.

Colorado 4 - Rangers 1 ... Gaborik gets number 31

Sums up how I feel as well. It's like the old theory of betting against your favorite team: If your team wins, you're happy. If your team loses, hey at least you got some money out of it.

Ok so, who on the Avs doesn't have a goal yet this year? Put them down for at least 1.

This board is awesome when the team does really well or really bad. Anything in between and there's too much bickering and debate. But the real funny stuff comes out when the team is doing awful, like right now.

Avs are right in the mix of the Western Conference race. Every point counts for them.

So, any news on whether Hank is out tonight? I would imagine Torts would give him at least one more game off if he couldnt even stay on the bench last night.
