Me too. I was rooting for a five game losing streak before the Phoenix game. One down, four to go.

I cant bring myself to ever "root" for a loss or a losing streak, but it certainly would be in the Rangers best interest to keep on losing. Squeezing into the 8th spot and then getting swept would just allow for Sather to keep his job and Dolan another excuse to raise ticket prices.

Is this a PIX 11 game?

I could have sworn they had games on 11 for Sundays now.

Look for them on Comedy Central. Their prime time line up tonight is Caddyshack, Rangers and then Major League. That should keep you chuckling all night.

ACtually that jumped out at me. He looked so tiny, yet he flung himself into the pack to grab someone. I'm happy he's found a home in Phoenix.

Just trust me on this one...Orr wanted to stay put. Torts wanted new blood, and more importantly an "Enforcer who could also play a regular shift". Instead we got an enforcer who can play the piano!

If Orr wanted to stay put he should have taken league minimum for one year.

Instead he took a nice 4 year contract worth a million per. Any 4th line enforcer would jump on that type of contract.

Can not fault the guy for taking that deal. What's more, playing in TO where they appreciate his style is probably a much better fit for him.

Orr was a beast. That fist was a hammer.

Dave Maloney getting on Redden there for not dropping his gloves ("just to help get the guy off ") when Laperriere was getting involved in the scrum...

Redden did make his mad face though. Didn't work.

Point taken Fly...I don't fault him for taking the bigger payday. But my personal opinion is the right move would have been re-upping the contract before it was over. I am pretty certain he would have stayed if the Olive Branch was extended. And even if it was a little higher than the 500k or whatever he was getting paid. I think he would have taken the deal at 800k or so...But again that wasn't even offered. But this is all a mute point, what's done is done and nobody can change that.

Maloney is now my personal favorite when it comes down to calling a game. He has no filter and calls it like he sees it.
