Well Kings like to break other teams records..as they did against...? can't remember but I do know there was this team that had a zero in their record up until they played the Kings....If i recall ...it was Tony "the moderator" who told about the stats and I told him the further it goes the closer you get to get it broken.

Kings are getting outplayed a bit here, but still only a 1-0 game off an unlucky bounce.

The commentary is fine and balanced, but their voice inflections and tone make me feel like I accidentally turned the channel to the WWF.

whats painful to watch is all the dumping the kings are doing...need more speed and carry into the zone. you arent going to score on marty with shots along the board.

I haven't seen this many odd-man breaks vs. the Kings since Marc Crawford was around :/

Devils are exposing a tired team, and i think Brodeur is in their heads; so many missed nets, no one crashing for rebounds when the rare shot gets there.

kings need to work on their dump-ins and forechecking. the dumps are being picked up by brodeur or the defense, and they're not creating any loose pucks and so can't get their cycle started. and without that, it'll be a long game.

They all seem a little slow. I guess having to play another game 19 hours after the last game, and it being the 4th game in 6 days will do that to you.

Just Discovered These Boards

Hi, longtime Kings fan here, since inception, 1967-68.

I was 10 and fell in love with the Kings, now I am 51, and still waiting for that first cup.

But its great to see this Kings team respond day in and day out...we are finally a contender again.

It's also nice to see the Lakers take the Celtics and sweep Boston in the Garden this weekend.

I can't believe the NHL scheduled this game so close to the Boston game, this team must be dog-tired. Great road trip so far.

Why is Purcell playing again? Can they end the Purcell experiment already?

I'll give the team a pass on this one. They look exhausted and out of gas.
