Anybody going to either the February 1st radio show at Blackstone or the February 3rd show at Dave and Buster's? I don't know who the guests are (other than Wade of course at Blackstone), but we should know by Saturday.

I might go to the Blackstone show. It depends on the guest, the weather, and my bank account. lol

Just got word that Olympian Shea Weber will be Wade Belak's guest on Monday night at the Blackstone Brewery for his weekly radio show on 104.5 FM from 6 to 7 PM.

Word is that there will be ticket giveaways for some upcoming games as well...

Thanks so much for this info! I was wondering who was going to be the guest tomorrow night -- it wasn't in the Predators Press yesterday or on either the Preds' site or 104.5. I'll definitely be there, too bad he already signed my jersey.

Any word on Wednesday's guest?

Almost makes me wish I got off later than 3. I love Webs but it takes a lot to get me to hang around town after the day is done.

No problem, I'll try to keep this thread updated with all the latest news on upcoming player radio appearances and see what becomes of it...

Take a couple pictures and post them here or write some observations if you can...let's try to get more people out to support the Preds around town!

Any OT available? It'll pay for your bar tab later that night...

My bff just text me that it was from 5:30-6:30 tonight. She probably got the word from the same guy who told you it was Weber.

Sucks that it'ss not at 6. I don't get off until 5:30 and being 40 minutes late isn't worth it for an hour show.

Yup, just looked at the website and they've updated the weekly schedule to say that the show ends at 6:30 PM tonight, meaning...Beeler and Webs will be starting at 5:30 PM...

I am so glad I came in to read this thread. I wonder if the weather had anything to do with it being early tonight.

Nope, it was changed in the morning to accommodate national programming following the show...

Sweet!! I need Goc's signature, he's the one I'm constantly missing. This is great.

Also, the radio show tonight went well! Here are some pictures that I took... sorry they didn't come out so well.

Cool, thanks for sharing!!! Didn't get to listen to the show tonight. Any interesting stories or insight you remember and care to share?

This was the first Belak show I remembered to listen to this season and that guy is absolutely hilarious. Much better than Darcy was.

They asked Weber if he was worried about being tired after the Olympic break and he said that he wasn't and then Wade chimed in about how he's an alternate and can't plan any holidays during the break in case someone in the depth chart gets hurt. Willy asked him who chose him as an alternate and he rambled off 4 or 5 different countries.

I'll quote myself... Cody was there tonight! The interviewer (sorry, I never listen to 560 AM) said he won't be wanting hugs any time soon.

Both were really nice and very talkative and funny. It was quite enjoyable. I especially liked when Marcel had to interview Cody and he was asking about his roommate (they are roommates, but Marcel kept referring to himself as "Cody's roommate").

Generally the 560 AM shows are hosted by Paul McCann (in arena announcer - "Thanks Paul") and Pete Weber (our main PBP announcer).

I think Paul has red hair and is younger (when compared to Pete), while Pete is silver up top and the older of the two...

Yeah, Weber was there at the beginning but then left. He wasn't at the last Dave and Buster's radio show. I do believe it was Paul. He didn't sound like he does at the games but now that you say that I remember what he looks like from the Preds' website. There was another guy there too, I can't remember his name but the last time I was there, my friend said he was clueless about hockey so she didn't like when he does it.

EDIT: And now it looks like I'm talking out of my butt because I can't find that dude on 560's website. I don't pay much attention to the people doing the interviewing, unless of course I immediately recognize them like Pete or Terry or something.

Unless that has been the recent change, Greg Pogue has been the host for the past several years.

Sorry, I was forgetting about Pogue, however last night when I looked at the Predators press release it only mentioned McCann and Weber. So, I would guess ultimately the lineup was Pogue, McCann, and Weber hosting with Goc and Franson as special guests...
