Competitive Men's League in Alberta

Not too sure if this is the place to post it, but I'm looking around for some competitive Men's League Hockey.
I'm only 22, and playing Beer League hockey is fun and all, but I like winning way too much and am a little bit too competitve for rec league hockey sometimes.
Oh, and I also like to hit, which is kinda frowned upon in beer league.
Anyone know of any leagues that do try-outs? I live in Spruce Grove, just outside of Edmonton, so I was looking into the Chinook League, but I'm not quite a AAA caliber player. Looking for something more along the lines of A.
