Without Uppie, hopefully they won't have anyone to score to beat us.

Also if you have NHL08-09 for PC (and PC only) you can download the ice.

I agree. Both games are worth four points in the standings and would help wipe away some of the damage done recently on the road.

As for the second part of the equation...each home playoff game is equal to a minimum of $1 million in revenue. I say we play into late May, maybe early June...

Yup I seen that stat to 1 mill / game last year.. when you look at the fact we made 100k last year 1 mill games are BIG so it gives extra incentive to get a better team if you know ull make the playoffs when this team gets 2 mill MIN from it .. Sadly im hoping for Chi in playoffs.. will bring in more fans and thas where goalkeeping is weakest .. but again these 4 point games are going to be huge on where the team goes and how confident this team will be in adding big players at deadline

Ultimately, I think you'll see us be both a buyer and a seller at the deadline. But as you say, how aggressive we are as buyers probably has a lot to do with how the team does coming up to the break.

Nashville can buy by selling. Tootoo, Hamhuis, and O'Reilly should be on the market. I know there is a love affair with Tootoo but there is also a need for a position for Wilson. The end result of the trades should be a goal scoring forward, a vet d-man, and additional picks. With Poile's recent track record with late round picks he sould try and get as many multiple picks as he can. It's his strength and forte.

As for the Playoff picture; make the first round and it's an automatic profit. Any round past that and it's a banner (No pun intended) year for Nashville.

I have no love affair with the guy. I love Tootoo but I'll be glad when he's gone for the exact reason you already stated .It'll be nice to sit in my Seat without hearing Tootoo whistles all the time.

Nashville's getting smarter as a fan base, and while Toots is a fan favorite, i think people realize that without him... we'll be okay.

For the love of Bubba keep hamhuis and klein apart tonight.

(mojo from the official boards) We're gonna get our butts kicked.

so on, and so forth. viva la 303.

I can guarantee you the other guys on the bench don't want to see Tootoo go anywhere. Whether the fan base has an irrational love affair with him or not....

Hey guys, just introducing myself as I'm a new poster here on hf. I'm a diehard Sharks fan, I bleed teal. However, I am a big big fan of Nashville. So I'll be around voicing my opinions here as much I can. I watch just about every Preds game. I've been to Nashville to watch games before and I just love everything about watching a hockey game in Nashville. You guy and all of the other fans really make it an amazing experience. This is a big game tonight guys, I'll be watching as usual.

Talk in Dallas about moving Turco. Ellis/Rinne.........either or have had their names surface. They are speculating on whether or not the Preds will be in the market still being in a playoff race. They want to get them before they become UFA's.

San Nash, welcome aboard!

Steelhead, I just dont see much advantage in having Turco over Ellis or Rinne. That and Ive not been fond of him for a long time so maybe it is personal.

I agree, when playing his game, Tootoo is at the top of the list of players you hate to play against, but love to have on your team...

Spending way too much time in our end...

Get ready for a bunch of back-to-back-to-back breaks...they are all stacked up now...
