Let's give Torts a couple of days to figure out his new line-up. Christensen is definitely better on the first line.

Christensen on the first line works as good as any other center so far, so I'm all for it, because it allows us to spread the little bit of scoring we have.

Let me guess, our future superstar Lisin should be playing there?

3rd liners or not, Dubi and Cally are among the best six forwards on this team, and therefor they should play on the first two lines.

As much as you rail the point home frequently, Dubinsky's upside is higher than that of a 3rd liner. As a winger, he looks like he could be a 1st liner.

Dubinsky has done more with his time with Gaborik than anyone on this team, including Prospal.

Christenson should be with Gaborik?

If that's the case, then I assume everyone was OK with Toms playing with Lindros - he did score a hattrick, by the way.

I can't remember, McRanger - now I'm trying to remember if that was also the game in which he got smacked in the nose with the puck while on the bench...ah, good 'ol Putty...

I don't think I have ever had an easier time looking something up. "Jeff Toms Hat trick" and it was the first thing. Imagine that.

Didn't he take a puck off the face while on the bench in that game too?

now who's sad?

Why not keep EC with Gabby. They do seem to have a little bit o chemistry.

I disagree with the bold, but I do believe he does have potential upside...just not as high as everyone is anticipating though. I have been more impressed with Cally and his hustle than Dubi.

As for the "Firing of Torts" that is plaguing these boards, you're all the same people who wanted Renney's head. Could it be that we simply don't have the chemistry and talent for that matter to be a playoff team? I mean, why is this so hard to fathom? We have so many new players this year.

The PP sucked last year, we got rid of Pearn. The PP sucks this year...I'm thinking it's the players and not the coach with that.

Last year we fired the coach (who was the scapegoat) because of a terrible losing streak. This year we want to fire the coach because...wait for it...the team is playing with no heart. Well, maybe the players - for once - should be held responsible and the GM for that matter.
