Anyone think that the recently waived Brendan Witt could get a long look by us? I know he is old but he could provide physical depth on our blue line.

slow, expensive, and doesnt like the drivers in the city . I'd still say maybe, but he'd have to be paired with a D-Man with some speed, plus we'd have to find 3 Million in cap space I think.

Brendan Witt at this point is better served as a 4th line enforcer than an NHL defenseman. And they're not worth even what it would cost on re-entry waivers

Hopefully the coaching staff can keep him doing what he does best without letting him slip into the habits that got him waived in the first place. But, so far so good.
