I'd Giroux with a goal and an assist and Gagne with 2. He really needs 2 haha.

Oh no. He's played okay, but just can't catch a break, so it seems.

Come onnnnnnnnnnnnn Leighton. Ugh.

Agreed. Six games including tonight's until the Olympic Break; I'm not confident in Leighton to continue his strong play from the last run, so hopefully tonight is just a rest night and Emery is good to go until the Olympics.

I have next to no faith in Leighton coming in cold, I'd almost rather Boucher. I feel Leighton's play was based on adrenaline

Every NHL game Leighton gets to play could always be his last. Shouldn't that be enough adrenaline for the guy?

Hopefully the team plays strong in front of him and if they do, I put faith in Leighton to put the team in a position to win tonight.

Yeah, I think we'll win this as long as the offense do what they're supposed to against that D and goalie. Plus they'll hopefully stick up for Leighton like they did when Emery was out earlier.

I know what you mean...but isnt that what happenned when he came here...he was cold then too?

It could be the same as last time...he may understand this is his last shot at staying in the NHL....so he may be busting his ass to make himself the backup...not Boucher.
