Important Games to Follow

Hey, I realize that there is an "Around the League thread", but I think that it would be neat to have one devouted to JUST games and teams we're trying to catch up on.

We ALL don't want boston to have a bottom 5 pick.. I think it will be interesting to follow teams behind and just ahead of us.

Important Games:

Thursday February 4th:
Dallas-Columbus ---> Dallas Must Win
Edmonton-Minnesota ---> Minnesota must win
Boston-Montreal ---> They're close, doesn't really matter. Just no Extra Time
Washington-NYR ---> Washington
NYI-Tampa Bay ---> They're close, doesn't really matter right now. Just no Extra time

Friday February 5th:
Toronto-New Jersey ---> Toronto Win
Atlanta-Washington ---> Washington win
Caronlina-Buffalo ---> Buffalo win
Calgary-Florida ---> Calgary Win

Ha! This is how I pick my Pro-Line tickets. I pick the worst possible results for the Leafs and it happens a lot.

Speak for yourself. The pick is gone, I could care a less where Boston picks/who they pick in the upcoming draft. Honestly, what difference does it make?

It makes all the difference in the world since they're in the same confrence as us. We play them 6 times a year. Would you like them to get a possible PPG-100 Point player, or a 60 point player?

If they were a team in the western confrence, then it wouldn't be such a big deal.

^ He's got a point ahah

We all know we aren't getting a pick back however, is it so wrong to try and play them out of a top 5 pick? I know I'm interested in seeing it haha

The scary part is, with the freefall in Boston right now, they could very well get themselves a top 5 pick. That could potentially be 2 picks in the 1st round.
Please get desperate Boston! haha We don't need you having 2 high end picks.

Same division...and if Boston continues to struggle, they could have 2 lottery picks...
I hope EDM tanks, I would hate to see Boston pick top 3 with our pick.
And then at least Taylor Hall will play for a Canadian team.
