You can have Jones. The Kings will toss in that 4th as a token of appreciation.

Why would the Kings consider moving Frolov when they're in the middle of a play-off run?

If the Wild want Frolov, they may have a chance to get him in the off-season due to his UFA status. No way the Kings consider moving him at this point baring a major upgrade.

Jones was a re-entry waiver claim so i don't think they can trade him.

Frolov plays in Kings third line and second power play unit? In my opinion Nolan could play in Kings 3rd line and 2nd power play unit. Zidlicky would be nice add to Kings power play.

As a Wild fan I would still even say no. Not because its lopsided in our favor, but because those moves really don't exactly help either team with their goals in the long run.

Okay, i admit my first proposal was bad but in my opinion Wild and Kings could make some kind of trade in which Zidlicky would go to Los Angeles and Wild would get for example draft pick and conditional draft pick.

To Los Angeles: Zidlicky

To Minnesota: 2nd round pick 2010 and conditional 3rd round pick 2011 if sign extension with Los Angeles Kings

Any thoughts?

Sens fans have previously propsed Brian Lee and a 2nd for Zidlicky so you're at least going to have to match that.

It's not just the fact the deal is bad, it's also because I don't to hear Bob Miller reapeating that name on any given PP. It would hurt my ears.

The players in this deal are somewhat attractive in this offer. Voynov looks like he can put up some points from the blueline and combining him with the 2nd round pick pretty much matches the Lee/2nd proposals I've seen. As far as Nolan goes, Parse could probably step right into his slot on the third line.

The problem is that the Wild are full of 3rd liners next year. As it stands right now, our 3rd line will be Kobasew-Brodziak-Clutterbuck. We really would have no place for Parse except maybe on the 4th line. Even that will be full with Earl-Ebbet-Sheppard.

Again, I kind of like that proposal but I just think it's not quite there on needs for Minny, especially when we're still not out of the playoffs.

I can actually see CF signing Frolov in the off-season...

Depending upon how the Wild due during the upcoming 5 game homestand that begins tonight they may become sellers. However, as of now I wouldn't trade Zidlicky unless someone wows you with an offer. Trust me I have been highly critical of him but this season he has been very good and would be a huge addition for a team looking to make a playoff run.

With all of that said your someone is going to have to make an offer the Wild can't refuse since I believe Zidlicky has stated he would like to return next year. That and he is on pace for 45-50 points this year.

Traditionally at the deadline players like that have been able to retrieve a 2nd rounder and a legitimate prospect.

Maybe if a forward prospect was thrown in...Wild need some assets that can be used next year. Too much competition with Vikings for ticket sales and Minny fans are hard to win back when you lose them.

Frolov is playing on the third line because of how la's spreading out their depth. They have Richardson and Simmonds on the first with Kopitar. Frolov's better then the both of them, but Murray was the spread it out so plays Frolov on the 3rd line where he can play perfect as a two way player.

The only chance Frolov leaves the Kings this year is if its for Kovy. He's a UFA at seasons end, so shipping him out for another ufa would make sense. At the same time its going to take far more then just Frolov for Kovy so I wouldn't bank on that. The Devils are someone I see taking Kovy.
