Stick Help: Bauer and Nike Bauer

Can someone tell me what the difference between the two are? Specifically the Bauer X40 and the Nike Bauer Supreme One75? I guess I don't quite get why there is a Bauer stick as well as a Nike Bauer stick? I always thought they were the same thing when Nike bought them a few years back?

So what is the difference between these two sticks (similar price) and specifically why is there 2 product lines that are so similar and seemingly the same company?

Nike sold Bauer last year to Canadian investor group. The Nike name was to still appear on the Bauer products for a few years.

Vapors and Supremes are made for two different purposes.

The shaft, kickpoint, taper and blade are different for each line.

They are both made by the same company and there is a big difference in what each stick offers.

Basically, the X:40 offers:
-low kickpoint
-good for wrist shots/snapshots and fast releases
-lightweight
-average puck feel

One75:
-low/mid kickpoint
-good for slappers and one timers

True enough, it is lighter then some entry level ops, but it is far from the lightest.

Powertek digital Pink is 559g and is a 30$ stick. There are tons of OPS's in the 550-570g range that are cheap as ****

Its not that big a deal that it isnt the lightest entry level stick. Its still a good stick

That's 110 grams heavier then the X60.

Damnit, so the One75 probably wouldnt be good for a wrist shooter like myself then?
I can't find the X40 in stock anywhere, bummer.

What about the CCM Octogun 50, good stick for wrist shots?

The kickpoint helps your shots, its not a make or break factor, so you could get a good wrister with the One75, but you might notice a better/faster shot with a lower kickpoint.

A good alternative to the X:40 would be the XXV or even the XXII if you can find it.

From what Ive heard, if you wanted to spend that kinda money on the Octo 50, there are better alternatives
