Why? We won i'm happy. What I don't like though is people saying Halak's the real deal or Halak>>>Price this year. For how good Halaks been since mid december don't forget he can go back to his october-December self.

I think we played ok 5 on 5 in the third. Took Markov to step up, but we actually played hard. If we can do that with Cammy and AK, we'll not be that boring to watch.

We don't want to trade Price because he has Top 5 goalie potential... Funny because this season Halak has been a Top 5 goalie...

It's like the more shots he faces, the better Halak plays. Anybody have his W-L record when he faces 40 or more shots? I bet it's insanely good.

The only thing that would've made tonight sweeter is if we won it regulation...but I can live with handing them their 9th straight or whatever it is

I'm having memories of Theodore's Hart season.

Of course Halak has no chance winning the Hart but he'S as important for us as Theodore was.

also, Price hasn't been bad at all this year... he's been good. But Halak has been EXCELLENT...

I was having bad flashbacks of Theodore tonight. When our team was bad as Hell and Theo would receive 40 + shots every night. He was so bombarded that I think that's why after 3 years he was never the same goalie as he probably had the body of a 70 years old dude.

The Habs need to trade Halak.

He's papering over an awful situation and allowing the Habs to get away with far too much suckage. He's already singlehandedly saved Martin's job several times over, and the way this team manages to score within the shackles of that craptastic system, it makes me sad to think what they would do with a decent coach.

It's gotten to the point that the players either just ignore Martin's defensive approach or go out and suck. Coach is being tuned out, but it's more subtle than pure suckage.

They won't progress until they start losing and fixing their problems and Halak is giving them the illusion of quality.

(Yes, I am kidding about trading Halak, but not about the point that he's covering up a dismal situation.)
