I need your favorite Ducks' links/blogs/sites!

Hey guys,

I have just launched AnaheimDucks.org and was trying to fill up the "Recommended Links" section. I've already added about 20 but would love to add any other sites you guys like to visit (Ducks-related of course), or even any blogs from other members here.

I do NOT require that you link back to me, especially as the blog is new and lacking content at this point in time.

Thanks in advance!

The only other place I look at other than here is the register, sorry. I find most other "dedicated" sites to be too fanboyish to take seriously. It gets like that here but there are enough people with quality opinions to kind of balance it out.

Yeah too many of the other sites are commented on by kids who have little to no idea how the organization is run and all in all don't know hockey that well. This is the only site I care to come to, to talk about hockey.

Heh, I tried to post over at allducks, it was comical. I made a post on how Hiller was the goalie of the future and it was time to move on and trade Giguere. Basically, all I got were fanboys claiming I must be a new fan since I hated Giguere.

allducks has become a joke. All they do is blame Carlyle for every single mistake the team makes. If the Ducks win it's in spite of Carlyle's system. If they lose it's because of it. ****ing retards.

Anaheim Calling is a really good one IMO. I don't always agree with them, but always an interesting read.

EDIT: Ooops. Just noticed it was included already, sorry.

This goes for the official board as well. I made a post about lines stating that Ebbett and Christensen are not Ducks players, and that management should consider having Bodie in the line-up to recreate a shutdown line. Many flames later, I see that I was correct.

However, the irony of your post is that HFBoards is just the same. I am glad many people share the same ideas as me on here - understanding the philosophy of the Ducks and how this franchise functions. It's shame that the Ducks fanbase has become a stereotype because there are plenty of fans that would put "Canadian elitists" into shock.

Hmm, i guess now is a good time to do little bit advertising about my own Ducks blog, that i now just have put in place. It's probably full of grammar errors and all that (and it doesn't really look that good). But i guess if you have free time on your hands, or are just generally intrested about the Anaheim Ducks, feel free to check it out:

edit: if you do check it out, i welcome all feedback with open arms!

We try to mitigate that by not agreeing with each other all the time, but you're right that we're sometimes at odds with the consensus amongst Ducks fans. I don't know if that makes us less fanboy or more.
