Coyotes still apparently looking for a depth d-man. It depends I guess on how far into the "depths" Boynton's game has sunk.

i figured he would of been claimed on original waivers, but wasn't, i got to believe he will be claimed for sure on re-entry he would be a big boost to a playoff contending team. he has playoff experience with the bruins and such so he could make an impact.

He was placed on Waivers earlier this week.
Now he's been placed on Re-Entry Waivers.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a team looking for a #5 guy, claim him.

He'd be stuck on the Pittsburgh roster for a minimum of 30 days if they claimed him.

Classy of the ducks to put him on reentry. Since he's only got a couple of months left on his deal, they could have easily just buried him in Manitoba or whereever their farm team is without any cap hit for the rest of the year.....

Loved Nick when he was on the Bruins.
I haven't seen him play for awhile.
He pays with much heart and sticks up for fellow players.

Depends on what's going on with Sulzer, but the Preds may put in a claim just to get an extra buffer between the NHL and Jon Blum.

Getting Boynton always seems like a good idea until you actually get him.

I would imagine both Vancouver and NJ would put in re-entry claims here....
