We're not in full on sell mode. We'll probably take a hit on a player or two. That's life.
Barker + Kopecky (Salary)+Skille for Kubina

How much does Kubina Make?

Or I would think about a Versteeg,Kopecky and Barker for Armstrong and Kubina + Valibik.

No thanks.

He makes $5 mill/year and is worth every penny. If he wants to test the market, I couple him with a first and get a scorer we can plug in for the run. If not, I offer the same $$ for 3 more years.

Boris has been improving and I don't see us trading him any time soon.

I agree I dont want to see us make the same mistake that NYI did with Chara.

I'd totally take the first deal. Barker is under contract for several years and Skille seems to be out of favor in Chicago but carries promise. Could compete for a top 6 role with the Thrashers. He'd also be a cost effective re-sign as an RFA. Kopecky is affordable and out of contract at the end of next season.

I was thinking a Kubina-Afinagenov trade for versteeg(is he a lw)+ trade might make sense.
