The driving force behind many of our so called fans is indeed hate more then love for their team. If Price/Gill/Spacek/the K brothers would have a career ending car accident some people here would rejoice.
And yes, it is scary.
Have you ever noticed how some minds would rather be filled with negative thoughts most of the time rather than be filled with positive thoughs most of the time?
Hmmm lets see....negative thoughts create negative realities, and positive thoughts create positive create positive realities. Seems like a no brainer doesn't it.
Hmmmm then why do so many minds spend so much time creating negativity?
Probably a little kid who thinks it's 'cool' to celebrate an injured player. There are lots of those types here. Probably writes the word 'Fail' and 'Wut' whenever possible.
seeing how mab hasn't scored with his shot on the PP in a while. it means he's just been passing and receiving passes.
i'm pretty sure even a call up can handle the pucks at least as well as that, while probably being less shaky and losing it out of the zone at every crucial time imaginable.
First off, I am not a MAB fan. On the positive side, he has a great shot, draws defenders out of position to cover him. He costs very little.
On the negative side, his work in the defensive end, or as a forward, or his nervous turnovers or his decision making... none of these are in question. Not even by his biggest supporters.
The worst part about MAB is that the Habs need him. They do not have another player worthy of taking that spot. No other player makes him dispensable.
Plan A: Spacek, but he turned out to be only a good d with an ok offensive game. Plan B :There was hope for Weber and Carle. Weber has been exposed as a good shooter, but not better than MAB. His defense is not so good that he makes the decision to sign MAB a non-factor. Carle, same.
So... we signed the player that 30 GM's passed over. A defenseman with holes so large in his game that even after 17 goals last season, no one signed him.
Thank God we signed him. It sucks that we needed to. We have live with the bad parts of his game, and they are obvious.

The OP has ben on my ignore list for the season...
I am really warming to Bergeron, the guy has elite blue line moves and gets your heart racing with screw ups and dangles alike. Maybe I am just liking him because so many here hate him. We will miss him in our game, the guy is a decent puckmover and at his price tag can't be beat. Very under-rated.
whatever it's not like we have to keep him after this year.
and i think we could actually trade him, because no matter where he goes, even if he's UFA, it doesn't matter because he will obviously resign wherever that is for anything they offer. he won't risk last summer happening again as he is trying to reestablish himself from the bottom and getting a lucky break by the habs.

Is Weber ready for that role or is PK ready? if not then why not keep him for around 1m and let it play out by using him the same way next year? We could bring up Weber and Subban alternately until we are very comfortable with them and the waive Bergeron.
