I lol'd at "Something King Doughty possesses in spades", as they showed a picture of Doughty on a King of Spades playing card. So lame.

But otherwise a very cool video. Loved that they gave so much time and credit to OD.

NHL Network is all over us too... Showed collage of highlights from the winning streak, followed by a long interview by Simmer.

I still laugh at the people here who were against drafting Doughty before we actually took him....ah, good times.

There were people who opposed drafting Doughty?!

I do recall the Armenian contingency was very much pro-Bogosian. That was funny.

They were both pretty equal in terms of rankings with a slight edge to Doughty and it's not often that a player of Armenian descent is drafted into the NHL. Actually I'm pretty sure Bogo is the only one. I know for a fact that it would have attracted more Armenian fans to the Kings. Bogosian is a great player but Doughty is just on another level so I'm very happy with the decision to take DD.

You don't remember the "Doughty is fat!" and "Doughty has bad genes!" comments? LOL.

It's always the cake eaters that call athletes out of shape.

I don't really recall anyone being down on it but there were a few euro members who would have prefered Bogo. I for one would have been pissed if anyone else was picked.

I still remember that. Some guy named goring's helmet. It had to be my favourite post of that summer.
