That's a good read. I still can't see how the Odyssey is going to help his hockey game, but that's cool.

I don't remember him making a big impression in his brief call up, but maybe he can eventually grab the 4th line center spot?

I thought Elkins was solid, a good future 4th line center and another good pick up by the scouts, undrafted college player

He still needs some work on his play away from the puck. I thought at times he was in poor position (particularly in his last game in a Kings uniform prior to being reassigned to Manchester). I think he can be a leading candidate to center the fourth line next season and has potential to be a two-way checking center.

He seems to have surpassed Trevor Lewis on the depth chart. It will be a nice battle between Elkins, Cliche and Lewis to see who gets a spot on the roster next season.
