Toskala is happy to be gone!

Quote:
ANAHEIM - It looked awkward to see Vesa Toskala in his Toronto Maple Leafs goalie mask juxtaposed against his Ducks practice jersey when he took the ice Sunday.
Toskala had been idled for six days waiting for a work visa to join the team, but he still had his old mask.

He was eager to shed it for a new one.
"Hopefully soon," Toskala said. "So I can wash that blue and white out of my gear."
Expunging his Maple Leafs tenure from memory is understandable for Toskala, whose forgettable stint with Toronto ended Jan. 31 when he was traded to the Ducks with winger Jason Blake for goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere.

OMG what a Jerk!

I can understand his frustration... the Leafs just got the stink of Toskala out the other night!

Eh, it's ok. Toskala is in a fantasy world where he believed he played very well for the Leafs. He was quoted a few times saying that this season.

No wonder it's taking so long for him to get a visa. You have to prove that no American citizen can do the same job. Good luck with that

Worst goalie in the NHL... 2 years running. Take a look at the stats You ****ing tool. Stats dont lie.

I hope Toskala fails at everything he does in life... Like he did with the Leafs.

Peice of ****. I hate him more then anyone who has ever put on a Leaf uni and have been saying that since last yr.

Rofl. It's the Leafs fault he's terrible and has a 0.87 save% and a GAA over 3.5

what's the big deal? Leaf fans are just as bitter and vocal about his departure. Can't say I blame him. It's a tough crowd to disappoint.

Can he lose the red tan on the back of his neck, from the light going on?

We're bitter? Maybe we wouldn't be bitter if he didn't let in 4 goals a game. Maybe if he wasn't the worst goalie in the league. MAYBE if he stopped being an ignorant ***** and ignoring the FACTS that the team was terrible BECAUSE of him.

Who really cares? I mean, Leafs fans want to erase any memory of him ever being here. So it kinda evens out in the end, doesn't it?

The fact that Gust and Toskala weren't together in the locker room should raise alarms. Even when you listen to Gust or Jiggy in interviews, their attitudes towards their play/game are so much better.

I'm not using hindsight as it's too painful.

Hey, I'm just as a happy to see the back of him as everyone else. I just don't get what the big deal is regarding what he said. He should have been replaced a long time ago. Nevertheless, Who expects to him have a warm fuzzy feeling about his time in TO? I think Blakes pretty happy to be gone as well.

This would be one of those very vulnerable moments were I would of expected someone to say, "I dont know, you should ask your mom" or somthing along those lines.
