Zidlicky

We drafted him in the 6th round AND we traded him to Nashville for Mike Dunham? Really?

**** Zidlicky, this team could sure as hell use a healthy Tomas Kloucek.

^seriously.

Forget Zidlicky, forget Kim Johnnson. The loss that hurt was Kloucek.

Then again, I could all the way back and say that Zubov should have never been dealt.

Sather wouldn't agree to his demand for a one-way contract and desparately needed a starting goaltender with Richter hurt.

Hm, interesting. I was 12 then so I really don't remember.

Yep, Richter suffered his last concussion, Blackburn started 17 games in a row and Holmqvist (who had been hurt when Richter went down) wasn't considered ready to play regularly in the NHL. Plus, Sather wasn't going to give up on the season. As it turned out the only decent player (from the Rangers' side) in the trade was Zidlicky. And Dunham played pretty well for the most part behind a very flawed Ranger team until he was overused.

Ah, Kloucek--for a couple years he really was keeping other teams heads up.

yeah kloucek is a damn shame, he could really throw a big hit, clear the crease, and man could he fight when he was mad. every time we play in atlanta I still think of him getting hurt, really ended his career as far as i'm concerned
