I met "bubba" last night.

I met Andrew “Bubba” Berenzweig last night. What an interesting character. I'm sure most of you here know who he is but if you don't he played a few NHL games with your predators

He was telling me his "breakout game" was against the Red Wings when he picked up something like 3 points in the last few minutes including the OT winner.

He told me he was very fond of Nashville and the fans. Just thought I would share that part.

He looked at the time that he was going to be a great player (def seen worse in the NHL) and he told me he picked up an ankle injury but when he got back, the Preds just wouldn't play him so he demanded a trade. I think he said he got traded to the Stars and they buried him in the AHL.

He quit, his father in law is suppose to be extremely rich and that's who he works for today.

Looked in great shape and I could tell it hurt him a bit when he talked about the minor details about him leaving hockey.

Anyway, just thought I'd share in case any Bubba fans were still around.

There wasn't a spot for him in Dallas when he was traded. if he's hurt that's his fault.
