Stl/phi
Posted this on the rumor board, figured I would throw it here too.
What do you guys think.
To Philadelphia:
C Brad Boyes (4.0 Mil signed through 2012)
To St. Louis:
LW Scott Hartnell (4.2 Mil signed through 2013)
Feel this would help both players out of their slumps, obviously, Hartnell has a trade clause, so that would need to be waived somehow.

If Boyes can play LW I'm all for this. We don't need a center.
Doubt St. Louis does this though.

The only thing you'd be signing is his insanity certification. No way CBJ does that.

Done and done.
fun fact, they were born a day apart
Gagne-Richards-Boyes
JVR-Carter-Briere
Powe/Leino-Giroux-Asham
Carcillo-Betts-Lappy
Hartnell has 144 PIMS, Boyes has 18
Hartnell has 350 points in roughly 650 games, Boyes has 287 points in 387 games

Just mapquested how far STL is from Rowan in Glassboro. I'll skip school right now, go get Hartnell, and be in St. Louis in about 15 hours. I'll let you guys know when I get there and when I pick up Boyes. Hopefully the snow won't be to bad so that our trip back won't be delayed.

Why would St. Louis make this trade? It is at best, a lateral move for them. I like Hartnell but Boyes is a better player. That being said, I would do it in a heartbeat. But there would have to be more going to St. Louis. Maybe a Coburn or a Parent. Also we don't really need a center.

Boyes is gonna be a RW if he comes here. I think he is a RW in St. Louis now, anyways.
If the deal was pulled off, i want to see Boyes paired with Giroux. Boyes is a finisher and Giroux is one of the best set up men in the NHL.

This is blatantly false. He might be someday, but this statement is not true.
