Holy crap, Shark fans have spent 27+ pages dissecting the Wallin trade. I had to come in here for some fresh air.

I think San Jose has crazier fans than Canada.

I'm watching the Sharks-Maple Leafs game, and I must say that it's kind of sad seeing Wallin in another jersey. The guy spent so much time here and has developed a strong bond with all of the other players on this team.

The Sharks are one of the many teams in the league that play
1-6
2-5
3-4

rolling 3 pairs equally versus playing your top 2 guys together and short shifting the bottom pair

1-2
3-4
5-6

of course these pairings are only even strength pairings.

Wallin was a +1 in 17:10 minutes of icetime.

Dude just gained 38 points in the standings and went from worst to first overnight.

Playoffs baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go get a Cup Nic

You're obviously unaware Vlasic is hurt right now.

I don't see anything wrong Wallin to play on pairing with Boyle. He just needs to play 16-18 minutes, not 20-23.

Here in Bulgaria, where hockey is amateur sport we have it better teams than Edmonton Oilers. God, this team is that pathetic.

Anyone find any pics of Nicky in his new uniform? I checked a few places with no luck. I just can't picture him in any other jersey but ours.

Watched online with partial attention from the beginning of the 3rd. Wallin put the puck on net twice within the first 30 seconds and generally looked pretty crisp. Then he coughed it up under pressure with about 20 seconds left and it required Nabokov to make a couple of stellar saves. Otherwise, I thought he fit in pretty well.
