Oh yea, You have no idea how dissapointed I was in that answer. Im like you got to be kidding me. Meanwhile when I asked Voros it was like he couldnt wait to play them. I actually told Avery good job with carcillo. Even Prust was like yea we will take care of it.

I really wanted to ask Avery what he said to Kovy the other night but I totally forgot

Three of my buddies were there and told me some great stories this morning. Apparently, my friend had a 10 minute conversation with Lundqvist about chocolate fondue.

They said Prust was great, he was going off about Peters for a while.

They told Prospal that his goal celebrations were great and all the other guys on the team said to pay attention to him during warmups because he celebrates all his goals during warmups also, LOL.

That's hilarious. One of the guys on my college team does that and we all get a huge kick out of it.

Someone also made a comment about Prospal's pink tie to which he replied "Only real men wear pink." After that, someone else on the team (might have been Redden or Gilroy, I can't remember) said that Prospal occasionally tapes the knob of his stick with pink tape for home games but that no one ever notices it. Something to keep an eye on for everyone that's at the games.

What the hell was Brashear doing there? I didn't know he was on the team.

Prust also said that Peters wanted to fight him a 3rd time but Prust turned him down. Prust sounds like he's the man based on the conversation my friends relayed to me.

Again, take a pic of your wardrobe so we can see what fabulous clothing looks like.

Good to see so many come out for a great cause, one of the best NYR annual events.

If I had the money that these guys have for clothes, I wouldn't dress like that. It's not all that hard to get a tux wrong unless you try too hard or just wear colors that don't go. The classic style can never go wrong and unless you know what you're doing (like Avery) don't bother changing it.

I'm sorry I'm not going to waste time taking pictures for you.

I didn't say everyone dressed bad. Look at Avery, he dresses good.

I said half of these guys . If I was paid his salary, I'd ask Avery for some fashion tips before I'd go out in a getup like that .

Also, every self-respecting man should ask his woman (if he has one) if he looks like a dumb ass before he goes out.

Good stuff, thanks for posting.
Lisin looks like he should be carring a tray with drinks on it.

I think MDZ was pimp for wearing that white suit, and Brashear as well.

Sure you can easily wear the standard black tuxedo with a white undershirt but that's so cookie-cutter. Why not wear something that stands out ... dress to impress. Some people probably think it is amazing, while you don't like it. That's your opinion.

Maybe Avery doesn't want to share his fashion secrets with everyone? Or maybe no one else cares enough how they look because the point of the event is to raise money for a good cause and not to steal the show with what they are "wearing."

---------------------

Anyway, Lisin and Anisimov are just great, they look like two Russian hitmen.

Prospal is pimpin in that pink tie, what a guy! I love hearing all these inside stories about players in the locker room too -- I will definitely be looking for a pink taped stick haha.

I think it's pretty well assumed that Lundqvist and Avery will be the most well-dressed men at the event and I wasn't disappointed haha.

Olli Jokinen gave us another classic shot to enjoy

As for Del Zotto's hand on hip thing --- look at the monster he's standing next to -- how are you supposed to reach his shoulder? I thought MDZ was pretty tall but damn, Boyle just dwarfs everybody he stands next to...what a giant!

Hopefully more people post pictures and stories from the event -- looks like it was a lot of fun.

Maybe it's just me, but I get a Vladimir Putin vibe from Prospal.
