Old school... Delorme vs Mulvey and Delorme vs. Macoun were pretty good too.
Great avatar. Is that Bill Goldthorpe? I wish we could see some of his clips, he is sort of like Bob Gassoff there just sint much out there to see.

I really thought this was was pretty good. Poor quality, but at about 15 seconds in you can see Lecavalier turn away, probably because some teeth go flying by his head.

Yep, that is Bill Goldthorpe... the RL inspiration for Ogie Ogilthorpe.

Hell, it was hard enough finding more than a picture or two of him, let alone any video.

Some good stuff on him and some other WHA heavies in the book The Rebel League: The Short and Unruly Life of the World Hockey Association.

Too bad there is so little in the way of footage of some of the old school guys.

It takes 22 minutes to finish the last four minutes of the game.

Tasker vs Senn-This was a war and the clip is already posted here.

Mel Anglestad vs Darcy Hordichuk-They had two dandies vs each other when they played in the IHL both are wars, the first bout is my favorite.
Those two were the first two to come to mind. Tasker/Senn has been pretty well covered, but Hordichuk/Angelstad was great, too.

(You can catch Round 2 in the related videos.)

I was at the Garden for Domi vs Probert part 2. Maybe one of the most anticipated fights in the history of the game. All the papers of the time were on the story and it didn't dissapoint either. Garden was loud back then...and that fight had the place literally in a frenzy!

That would have been awesome. The only story close to that I have is when the Blues and Wings had a linebrawl in the 91-92 season. There had been a bunch of rough games between the two teams and they were talking **** in the papers and it was a pretty safe bet that something was going to happen and this linebrawl happened early in a game in STL. It was as loud as I have ever heard the old arena in STL.

Yeah, as a fight fan that one was awesome. Thepapers the next day had punch counts!

I have some older vidsof the Blues, i'm going to say late 80's early 90's. There's some fans with a big banner hanging in the arena that said Heavyweight bout: Ewen vs maybe Grimson, or McRae? Place was going crazy for it.

Used to like the Darren Kimble fights back then. Rapid fire punches, no hanging on.
