Marc Crawford's son on twitter-NHL insider

Marc Crawford has a son named Dylan. Yesterday Dylan Crawford broke the trade on his twitter account about 5 hours before news of the Atlanta-Stars trade was leaked

Quote:
Crawford and his wife Helene have two children – daughter Kaitlin, and son Dylan.
http://stars.nhl.com/club/page.htm?bcid=32337

Quote:
Kari Lehtonen traded to dallas stars for iven vishnevskey and 4th rd pick
about 17 hours ago from web
https://twitter.com/nhl_scoop/status/8872925328

Later he wrote

Quote:
Marty Turco on trading block. Chicago and Montreal show interest
https://twitter.com/nhl_scoop/status/8890390447

Even McKenzie picked up on it

Quote:
But, and you had to know there was a but coming, I do wonder a little bit. I now wonder because there was a fellow on Twitter who yesterday correctly predicted the Kari Lehtonen trade to Dallas, right down to Ivan Vishnevskiy and a fourth-round pick going back to Atlanta. Five hours before it actually happened. Five hours!

Now, that same fellow is reporting Stars' veteran goalie Marty Turco is on the block (that's a given), but that the Chicago Blackhawks and Montreal Canadiens have made inquiries.

If Montreal is interested in Turco, it means they have a trade in place for Price or Halak to another team.

Hamrlik or Spacek would have to go the other way if a deal is made by the two teams.

How do we know this is his son?

To be clear, I can start a twitter account with the name Dylan Crawford.

We don't know it's his son 100% but he did break this 5 hours before anyone else had it. Not bad.

I think that it means Carey Price's time in Montreal is over.

I also think it may be the reason why Bob Gainey was fired. He loved Price and there are rumors that his resistance to trade him may have led to his resigning.

Also consider that Gainey was the one that encouraged Carbonneau to play Price in the NHL, when Carbonneau wanted Price to get more time in the AHL first. I think Price's altercation with Markov was the last straw.

Please send Price to his daddy's team.

I rather have Dylan over Eklund be the embraced NHL trade rumor guy.

Dylan just lived out the dream about 95% of us out there could have.

Price to the Oilers, Turco to the Habs & Cogliano & a 4th round pick (Mtl) to the Stars

Are you kidding me?

Do you mean Price and a 4th for Turco? Even if you mean Price and a 4th for Turco and Cogliano, that's a complete joke!

The Oilers make out like bandits (the Stars too if they get Cogliano and a 4th for Turco)...

Yeah, that's gotta be true. After announcing that he was stepping down as GM, Gainey immediately removed all friends from his facebook page except for one...yes, Carey Price

Agreed...Markov removed Price from his facebook friends.

One theory is that this is Crawford's son.

An alternative is that it's a totally different insider who got a scoop and was looking for a pseudonym under which to post it. Let's see... who would be a credible inside source? How about the coach's son. Ok, got it.

My guess is that if Marc is dumb enough to announce the details of trades to his son before they're public, then at least his son isn't dumb enough to post them online with his name on them. Then again...

Which would be especially strange, considering he wasn't fired.

I just find it funny how you come up with these conspiracy theories...

Price's 'altercation' with Markov was the last straw???

It's a freaking hockey team, disagreements happen...if Price is indeed traded, i'm sure it will have little to do with that 'altercation' (and I use that term loosely) and more to do with what they're receive in return

lol...why bring facts such as these into this discussion when speculative conspiracy theories are much more fun!
