Ribs area is pretty detrimental. My left rib sticks out real bad. One good shot and broken rib. Nothing you can do as far as I know except for man-up and guard yourself

Casein is a slow digesting protein like you said mainly for before bed or during a time when you dont plan to eat for more than 3-4 hours. Its good because it slowly digests during long spans where your body isnt taking in any nutrients and it allows a slow steady supply to your body. Its really thick so I wouldnt mix it with milk, just go with water. When your sleeping your body is really working to repair and build up muscle but without protein it really cantbuild much and thats where Casein comes in. I only take it before bed if I had a dinner with less than normal protein (like pasta) and if I had a really hard workout. Maybe 3 times a week for me. Some people swear by the stuff and if your really looking for massive gains, a shake before bed every night is important.

Ribs are tough, there really isnt muscle on them. Build up your abs and Lats, thats all you can really do other than just putting some meat on the bones.

That's what I figured. Thanks for the help though.

I can try but it's pretty hard to put meat on my bones when I have to be 152 pounds.

you don't need meat on your bones, you need to learn to take punches to the ribs. ive been doing martial arts since i was 13. theres nothing that will build that area up. you just need to learn to defend the area, dodge the shot and most importantly take a shot if you can't do either.

cheers

Did Yoga X for P90X yesterday. That's some tough stuff.

My girlfriend does Yoga for 15 minutes a few times a week, but 90 minutes through. Wow. Lots of aching today.

It really does help flexibility. In the beginning I was having problems touching my toes, but toward the end I was able to grab them.

I can't come remotely close to touching my toes. I might have the tighest hamstrings in the world.

Try it, and take breaks as necessary. I guarantee at a minimum you see an improvement.

I now know why 5 minute abs was never created, there was no X in the title.

Felt a small rip on the inside of my left forearm on my first pullup yesterday in my last set of pullups for Legs and Back. I stopped from there. Outer part of left tricep hurts a bit, some tightness where I felt the rip, not dramatic but nothing more. Definitely wasn't a pop and I don't think it's serious. I iced it down right afterwards too.

Note: Be Careful.

Harv, how was yoga? I actually enjoyed it, I was feeling more flexible by the end of it.

Yoga is lame. The first half of it sucks, because its long and repetitive. The second half is a lot more fun once you start doing funky ass yoga poses. But at the end, once your doing just hamstring stretches, I can get to my toes. Which I cant do normally.

Ha, that's funny...I've been running through the videos a little bit before actually getting started. Last night, my gf and I did yoga, and at about exactly the halfway point we stopped cuz we were both so damn bored and felt it was too long and repetitive. Now, you've got me all curious about the second half...guess we'll have to be more patient next time.

And yeah, that first half...christ, enough with the upward ****ing dog ******** already.

"Now, raise that heel to the sky...shoot it to the sky....and bring it through to runner's pose...exhale, breathe deep, and straight into plank, pushup if you want to."

Lol yup. Its really ****in boring.

The 2nd half feels alot more "yogay" to me. All about doing crazy **** while balancing on one leg etc.

PS, I can do the bride. or the Wheel. Whichever one is the one where you lift yourself off your back with your arms and legs.
