I would love this, but it doesn't make sense. Why would LA move Frolov in the middle of a playoff race for a prospect who looks like a bust? UFA or no UFA that is a bad trade for LA.

Alex Frolov to Montreal ?

According to Patrick Caisse from Canoe.ca, there is a deal on the table that would bring Alex Frolov to Montreal.

The Kings are waiting for Whitney or Kozlov before dealing Frolov.

Pacioretty is rumored to be part of the deal...

sorry bout the last post,

Because he knows he cant resign Frovlov .

I seen Dean L saying something to the effect Frolov at 3,5 million but not at 5.5 or something like that......

So when i seen that i said he's a goner.

Looks like a bust? Are you kidding me? Maxpac is young and developing and exactly what this team is lacking. Trading him for an UFA is exactly what this team shouldn't be doing.

LA wins this deal and Gauthier needs to reconsider his profession.

Not that outlandish. If the Kings get Whitney they need to make room in the top six.

Exactly what we need? Why did he get sent down then and has not even been called up and 4 others have instead?

doesn't matter. Even if he can't re-sign Frolov that would be a and trade. LA needs to gear up for the playoffs this year, and Pacioretti is just simply not a good enough prospect to get LA to give up on one of their top wingers. That would be like us trading Kovalev at the deadline last season for an aging prospect with no success at any pro level.

Because he needs time to develop. Is it his fault he was brought up too early? Stop given up on kids for 1 year losers. It's a recipe for disaster.

I have no problem with being patient none at all,but I'm not impressed with Pacioretty at all and to say he is exactly what we need

Pacioretty is 21 and had a good rookie season last year. You make it sound like he's 25 and has never had a remotely decent season in the pros.

That said, I agree that it would make no sense for LA.

Frolov is scoring 30 goals a year! way better than Pacman today.

Frolov when he is on is a excellent player(Kovy jr) , we just need to hope he sticks around and Montreal egnites him .

He is a big power forward who is a few years away from being ready. So what, he's more valuable to us in two years than a couple months of Frolov is worth.

We can not sign Frolov. This is beyond ridiculous. We are in no shape to win a cup or even a series. What freaking good does Frolov do?

I would hardly call last year a good rookie season. He had a good 2 weeks when he was called up and disappeared. Just like Dags. Pac has not even had AHL success and has been downright awful in the nhl. I am quickly losing confidence in this guy and if there is a Frolov/Pac deal on the table Gauthier better take it.

I don't understand why we can't sign Frolov? We can't move players to make room for him?Frolov next year and the year after and the year after will have a bigger impact then Patches,so if you could make a deal like that and dump some other salary then you make the deal and try and extend Frolov's contract

I hope this happens... I'm not a fan of Pacioretty. But whatever, rumors are rumors, and they never happen. I put this one at like 5% possibility, only because this guy never really twitters rumors, so this one might be special, I don't know.

the bigger picture he is Frovolv played on a line with Michael Cammalleri. Check out the stats when they played together.

im sure there will be more to the trade if and when it does happen .
Gainey was in TO watching leafs vs LA....gotta smell the smoke

I'd be hesitant to give up on Max so quickly.
