Also I hope there is like no one there. That would be cool to be there with like 100 other people.

LETS GO FLYERS.
Winning back to back against the Debbies, would be awesome, and could give us some nice momentum (although they havent been playing well).
Just play a full 60...even if it means stealing a win like last time.

I was at the Flyers-Rangers game during our first big snow back in December. It was awesome...you could hear the players down on the ice, and I was sitting in 215.

Flyers win 4-2

They better not even try and go after Carter. If so Carcillo, Asham, Hartnell, Laperriere will answer back.

Same lineup expected.

Quote:
NEWARK, N.J _ Don't believe the rumors about Dallas goalie Marty Turco coming to the Flyers.

GM Paul Holmgren said they weren't true last week and, besides, who needs Turco (and his $5.7 million cap hit) with the way Michael Leighton is playing?

The late-blooming Leighton has been, in a word, sensational.

Ever since they claimed him off re-entry waivers from Carolina, Leighton has been one of the NHL's most consistent goalies. In 15 games with the Flyers, Leighton is 9-3-1 (with two no-decisions) and a 2.24 goals-against average and .925 save percentage.
If he had enough starts to qualify for the league leaders, his goals-against average would be fifth in the NHL. His GAA with the Flyers is actually slightly lower than the mark compiled by Martin Brodeur (2.27), the Devils’ legendary goalie.
The Flyers don't need another goalie. They need someone to boost their offense.

* * * * * * * * * * *
Is goalie Ray Emery’s injured left hip feeling better? Was it a good sign that he was taking shots from his teammates at Wednesday’s morning skate in Newark? Is he eventually headed for surgery?
Maybe.
Maybe not.
Emery would not talk with reporters after Wednesday’s practice, referring all questions to general manager Paul Holmgren, who was back in Voorhees and not immediately available.
Just like when Emery suffered an abdominal injury a few months ago, there is a shroud of secrecy around the goaltender’s latest injury.
One thing is certain: Leighton will be the Flyers’ goalie Wednesday night against the New Jersey Devils in snowy Newark.
A blizzard has hit the area, but since both teams have arrived at the site, the game is expected to be played _ without many spectators.
I’d be surprised if more than 500 fans braved the elements _ it’s snowing so hard here that visibility is almost non-existent _ to attend the game.

Awesome as usual, MSE!

Here's hoping for back to back wins against the Devils.

Nice song choice - although this one would have worked well too (wow, I remember watching this....):

LET'S GO FLYERS!!

Oh, and Kambo - I heard Easy Lover again today! I haven't heard it in years, and now twice this week!

Just like the Calgary game, everything comes back to Reggie Lemelin.

For some reason I feel it'll be a huge game for Gagné. 4-2 Flyers.

MSE you should write a Divinci Code like book that ties everything bad that is Flyers related to Lemelin.
