Refs screwed up big time, but the bottom line is that we've gotta forget about that during this TV timeout and get back to dominating this game...

All those chances in the first half of the period...we know we can do it...just gotta keep working and start burying some...

Are we really gonna blow a 4 min man advantage?

Rangers blocked their own clear. Give them the assist.

Yea that's just tough luck. Would hate to be on the bench after that one.

And we're up again! Hooray! That was a really bad call on Erat, clearly you could see they tripped themselves, but at least we got a double minor (even if he did deserve it) and we're finally scoring on the Power Play some. Keep it up, boys!

Really needed a goal on that PP. Rangers were generating a lot of momentum on their PK and outworking the Preds (I'll write more about our PP later). Had Wilson not buried that opportunity the Rangers were going to dominate the rest of that period and take momentum into the locker room with them.

OK, now we really need to get back to Predators Hockey...hard work, simple defensive systems, and playing with grit...

Not only did Hamhuis not clear the puck but neither did Smithson when he had the chance to.

As happy as some of you are about the PP goal, that was pathetic. The only reason we score is because of a lucky bounce off a clearing pass that hits one of the Rangers own guys. Sorry, I just can't get excited about that. We wasted what, the first 3 minutes of a 4 minute PP trying to get the puck into the zone and setting it up? Yeah, it's a PP goal but our PP needs a major overhaul and soon.

The lack of use of Legwand in offensive situations is baffling to me. Is he not one of our better stick handlers? Can he not pass? Does he have a decent shot? Does he not have a huge salary and is counted on to play in all three situations? Then why the puck is he not out there on a PP when the units we continue to put out there are atrocious? We have either Sully, Suter or Erat carry the puck up ice and teams know this and they sit back and wait on us. We're as predictable as anything that is predictable. I'm thrilled we finally got a goal after the period we had but for the love of all things holy, change it up on the PP already. We have one of the best weapons in hockey with Weber's slap shot yet we fail to use it more often. We feather passes over to him for one timers and teams move over and either block the shot, block the shooting lane or the goalie gets a good piece of it. Practice passing with pace and one timers, PLEASE.

Del Zotto sent to the end of the bench in a profanity laced tirade from Tortorella...doubt he sees the ice again tonight...

Preds lead 2-1 at the end of the second...could've been 4-0, maybe 5-0 early this period, but we didn't finish...

Gotta bear down and re-energize during this intermission. I can guarantee you that the entire locker room will be reminding each other to remain disciplined in the final 20 minutes.

Look for short shifts in the third with the Predators on the second half of a back-to-back. Need to play simple defensive hockey, but remain aggressive when appropriate all over the ice. Cannot allow the work ethic to slide as the legs start getting really heavy and breathes harder and harder to come by.

Great period by Wilson. Getting more ice tonight on a mix of lines with Trotz rolling 11 forwards. Great effort on the extended PP all over the Rangers end of the ice. Glad to see him rewarded with the goal.

Sulzer has to step up...looks like he is thinking out on the ice and there is simply no time for him to stand there and do it. Read and react, read and react...don't think...just see it and do it. Really think Sulzer will benefit from the Olympics. If he thinks the NHL is fast...wait for the Olympics...he'll come back after the break and the NHL will, hopefully, be slow for him...

Another case of him thinking...he didn't just go back for the puck and make a play...winds up falling down and taking out Christensen's feet in the process...have no idea where his stick was...but after Del Zotto didn't get the call when he and Ward clipped feet...you knew Sulzer was going to the box there...
