If Montreal beats Washington(they are winning 5-2 right now) than the Rangers will be a full 4 points(2 wins) out of a playoff spot.

You know what's depressing? A Swedish reporter who watched the Rangers play against the Devils told Bjurman (that Swedish journalist Rangers fan who has his NHL blog): "You know, Magnus Johansson would be a star defenseman on this team."

And Bjurman was sad because he was right.

Yakety Sax alone made the night worthwhile for me.

A Rangers win would simply have been cheese curds on the poutine.

"If Enver Lisin could ever find his last two steps of offense, he would be a hell of a hockey player."

That's a very big "if."

My ignore list. You're on it.

Id be pissed off if i had nothing else to do tonight, but the snow's prett ymuch keeping me indoors and this was the only thing to watch. And a nice cup of Drurys cool calm and collected post game interviews puts me to sleep nicely.

If Drury ever dropped an f-bomb during the post game interviews, I would devote my life to charity.

The more they lose the more they become obvious sellers. Which they should be.

Cheers! Finally some sanity in this thread.

My god, this team is going NOWHERE barring a massive trade, have some fun and cheer for a good draft pick people! Think of it as making the playoffs and theres only five spots.

Can we officially reinstate the Hall/Seguin lottery talks again?

Lundqvist's post-loss interviews are so depressing.

.

Not looking to lay blame at anyones feet here, because there's alot to go around, but why oh why does Rozy feel the need to continously pass the puck up the middle of the ice.

He did it twice tonight, the first time was in the 2nd period and he passed right to a Predators player and the 2nd time it deflected off Cally straight to Wilson for the go ahead goal.

It's not like Rosy had alot of time, which is really the problem, his first instinct was up the middle.

Scoring one goal was the reason we lost, not Rosy, not MDZ, not Lisin wiffing on a great move, not any one particular player. We cannot bury scoring chances, that is why we lost.

Frustrating

I'd take Magnus over Redden anyday.

Maloney: "Maybe Lundqvist should shoot the puck more. Might give the Rangers more scoring opportunities."

Then there's no point in overreacting. It seems as if Torts yells for the sake of yelling. Every tactic he's used hasnt worked this season.

Again, you dont have to yell and act a damn fool on national tv to be "tough" on players.
