We have no secondary scoring

A few players we should be looking at going into the deadline

Kotalik
Higgins

We could do with a #1 Center how about

Gomez

Ahh to hell with it

7th from the bottom with the Columbus win, 6th if Atlanta gets a win or an OTW.

haha I'm totally with you on that, just saying that we could probably move even further down with a couple 2nds

Connolly or Tarasenko are no Hall or Seguin, but either would still be a big get for this pathetic franchise.

A couple more losses, say to Pitt and TB which isnt impossible puts the Rangers most likely around 4th or 5th.....from the bottom.

I don't think he implies anything more than what he says.

He's a stand-up guy that usually takes the blame for losses even if he didn't do anything wrong.

Also, while I am always impressed with how well Swedes speak English (better than many natives, Lundqvist of course no exception) you have to take his words literally. I doubt people who speak English as a second language are subtly inserting sarcasm and or insults in a harmless reply.

Anyway I feel bad for him every night he always looks so sad when he loses and rightfully so, never gets any support and even when he plays real well, the team sucks in front.

"We need to score goals."

That's it.

that was about 45-50 minutes of just horrendous hockey by the Rangers. In the offensive zone. Horrendous. In the neutral zone. Horrendous. In the defensive zone. Horrendous. Then for 10-15 minutes, they were un-frikkin-stoppable. This dichotomy what we have seen all season long is pissing me off.

We need to score goals.

We lack discipline.

We blew coverages.

MDZ is one of our best players.

We had at least 2 injuries on the D, hence the 7 defenseman. That's about it.

The best Torts recap would be Sather walking in and yelling “YOU’RE FIRED!”

I really think Jokinen, Prospal, Girardi, Rozsival, and Brashear can be flipped for picks and prospects. Get it done Slats.

The defense is awful, but not because it is a bunch of rookies making mistakes. That's the part that makes it so bad.

And for those who keep pointing out how Rozsival plays well. Well, whevever it is pointed out, I have to agree yes, he made a good play.

But the guy is famous for that gaffe that comes when it matters and leads to a goal. That is how I will always remember Rozsival. And before you flame this, think about how many crap plays Malik made. There were a whole bunch of hardcore apologists about how good he really is.

Then he left, and where oh where do you read about how good Malik is, or was? You don't read them because he is soft and slow.
So is Rozsival. He takes up space that someone with the whole package RIGHT NOW, or upside down the line, would have.

Wouldn't you rather have a defenseman who doesn't do that flop under pressure the way Rozsival always does?
Come on, I know you would.

You know whats funny? Atlanta is going to be a major seller and already has started and yet, with a win tonight, they will be above the Rangers in the standing and Sather will most likely be a buyer. Interesting.

Montreal just got scored on, 3 in the 3rd period by Washington. 5-5 end of regulation. Atlanta is winning against Colorado.

Sather has a fetish for being an 8th seed.

Sorry but I have 0 interest in watching this team get destroyed by Pitt or DC.

that goal was not Rozsivals fault, that's just bad luck. Cally skated right in front of his only outlet, boards were covered, the middle was wide open. If cally wasnt there, we had a 4 minute kill. not blaming Cally either, just a bad luck play, nobodies fault.

IMHO Redden was simply PUTRID tonight, and almost all the defenseman not named Staal had various degrees of Putrescence in their game tonight.

this game is the final straw for me. had we played a decent team tonite with our lack of effort, we lose by 5 easy

nash played into ot last night. weve been off for 4 days. yet who was the more tired team ? who played with purpose ? and who played like they dont care.

this team has quit. without gabby, we are nothing more than a bunch of guys going through the motions.

i feel for hank. after the olympics, playing for his country, and mine btw as i am 100 % swede, and the talent on that team, he will not want to come back to this bunch of clowns.

pathetic. i am ashamed of this team.
