Will he report to Hartford? I thought I heard they don't want him there.

With Nylander of the books i think the caps might squeeze him in after they get their other priorities taken care of.

Would NY trade him for a 5th? You guys get something out of it and we take some salary of your book while getting back a great fourth line player.

SOLD! and i'll drive him to DC for you on my own dime.

Another craptacular signing by Glen "the genius" Sather going down the drain. When will the madness stop?

Brash has been a huge bum. Talk about being done...

Hard to imagine anyone claims him. Enforcers are usually sat in the playoffs. He's pretty much useless. Rangers should be hoping he declines his assignment to Hartford.

Somewhere in Philadelphia, Blair Betts is laughing right now.

The fact that he demanded a trade, and then took a shot at Orr just makes me hate the guy even more then I already did. When the Rangers signed him I was furious, then tried to look past the hate because he was a Ranger. But now I can bring it back.

**** you Donald. I hope you clear, and then refuse to report to Hartford so we can terminate the **** out of that embarrassing contract Tortorella wanted Glen to give you so bad.

"A fighter who can take a regular shift" my ass.

Peace out Don.

He's finally where he belongs. Not on the Rangers.

Awards:
Brashear works as his own agent and scored himself that contract? I think he may have more going on upstairs than most of us give him credit for...

Then again, getting Sather to give you a lot of money in July isn't much of a challenge.

I'm pretty sure that the Rangers would add in a 5th round pick to get rid of him, but to answer your question: they'd DEFINITELY do that.

...and after watching him this season, he's no great fourth line player, nor an enforcer. He wouldn't drop the gloves with Carcillo earlier in the year (supposedly had an injury).

Brashear, like Laraque, has another year left. No one's going to claim him.

Montreal and NYR might want to look into making that trade actually, unless NYR wants nothing to do with enforcers.

Well it would help if they actually enforced. These two do nothing.

Actually, Rangers fans loved Betts in the role he was used in. His scoring this season for Philly has been a nice surprise, but he usually made a nice play and couldn't finish.

Sather let Colton Orr go in order to sign Brashear and acquired Brian Boyle from the Kings for a 3rd round pick, which ultimately replaced Blair Betts. These were two moves which Rangers fans panned on these boards. I'd say the fans were correct. Boyle has size, nothing else. I'd rather have Orr, Betts and a 3rd rounder than Boyle and Brashear. Said it in July and I'll say it again. I'm sure many echo that sentiment.

I never understood why Laraque has never been put on waivers.

Think we'll soon see Brashear vs. Laraque on bumfights.com?

Don't avoid them. Just avoid signing them to anything more than the league minimum and a two way deal.

Ill take a full bin of garbage from the Verizon Center for Donald Brashear..... And I will pay that bin half of Brashears salary and keep that bin of garbage on the active roster till Brashears contract expires. I have despised that man for many years. He is a joke to the league. Damn u Sather!!!
