I'm very happy to see Clayton shoot up the rankings from 20 to 11. He is, imo, one of the least appreciated prospects in the entire CHL.

Now admittedly I haven't seen a lot of your prospects play, but living in Vancouver I have seen Courchaine plenty. I must admit I think you overrate him by a significant margin. He's your typical junior age scorer with very little in his game that suggests he will excel as a pro. I could be wrong of course, but I see ECHL/borderline AHL written all over him. Like many Dub stars before him, his skating/size/D/strength just aren't NHL material. But that is just my opinion of course

yeah, he is putting up some nice numbers...has almost equalled last years totals...in 50 less games!

He might be even higher than #11 next list out.

Nice work as usual Glen.

Still wouldn't mind seeing Danny Irmen higher...I feel his offensive game has definitely made strides, while his grit and grinding style are top end. Not to mention the role he is playing on a very good Gopher team. IMO he is more likely to be wearing a Wild sweater in 5 years than Courchaine, Veilleux and Voloshenko who are ahead on the list. May be splitting hairs, oh well.

I also noticed Anton Khudobin jumped into the top 20 at #14. Was wondering what you thought of his play in the WJC's. I thought he looked solid in the games I saw against the US....making a very nice save at the tail end of the second game. I'm starting to think his role in the Wild organization has become even more important this year and it's nice to see a late pick progress the way he has.

Actually I think Veilleux and Voloshenko are going to be on the Wild team...Veilleux is a good 3rd line winger and Volo is much needed.

O'Surly over Koivu?? strange....what prompted that? Just because Koivu missed so much time?

ROFL!

And Meput, I see the top 5 Wild prospects as very close so even little things make a difference in their ranking. That said, remember that O'Sullivan was ranked in the top 50 as well while Koivu was not.

Which one will prevail?

So which one do you guys think will be a better NHL player, O'Sullivan or Koivu?

Koivu is the safer bet I think, health permitting. O'Sully has more offensive potential though.
