The author has Tambellini confused for Lowe.

Tambellini would stand there looking at things for an hour, and then leave with nothing.

What are you talking about? Tambo doesn't even go out to shop.

Love the avatar SK. But ya I gotta agree that is more KLowe to offer the money. Tambo would take off and debate it all night with his wife to only do the exact same thing the next day.

All jokes aside I understand that it might take a bit longer to evaluate some players. For example Cogs, Grebs, and POS. Cogs had 2 back to back 18 goal seasons. Is this season the real Cogs or is it just a very very bad season. I would hate for the Oilers to make a mistake when they aren't sure. Grebs was great under MaCT and Huddy? What happened this year? Is this what Grebs is really like or just another bad season. POS was voted best defensive player once in LA. What happened? Is this the really the best he can do on this team. Souray? There is a big question mark there. Was it the concussion or is he just this crappy.

When you have the most injury plagued team in the league and an undesired location for most FA, it is pretty easy to arm chair GM and say they need to do better. Not saying they ahve done a great job, clearly the last 4 years has been a big fat F grade. Just saying it is easy to critize but Neither Tambo or Lowe have had a easy job to do.

True. Especially when the players you want to trade have been playing like garbage and they have years left on their contract. I'm sure if Moreau Horcoff ect. were going to be UFAs at the end of the year we wouldn't be having this conversation.

You're right. It's cluttering everything up, what with all the news/activity coming out of the Oilers front office every day.

You're right, we absolutely couldn't post a link like this in one of the five thousand other OT threads complaining about Tambellini.

What was I thinking...
