Don't the rangers have a horrible record at the igloo?

Exactly. They always struggle at MSG too, well, until this year. Pitt leads the season series 4-0.

Which is exactly why I could actually see the Rangers WINNING this game.

But please god, don't. Then everyone will think we're good and "can skate with the best of them", and we'll be buyers.

we should be buyers as long as we dont have to give up any young talent/1st/ 2nd rounders. We can easily handle the debbies in the playoffs, every games a home game. After all the rangers do salute the crowd at the rock.

I distinctly remeber that, Strudwick scoring in OT. Can't forget such a rare event. Perhaps another unlikely hero today, maybe the Captain?

Avery is going to need to impact this game in a big way (think Stars game) for the Rangers to win. Not really sure I see it happening, but I'm hoping it does.

Pens 2 Rangers 3

We need a damn win and maybe justttt maybe if we win tonight we can gain some pride back. Hopefully that leads to us winning the last of these 3 games b4 the break and our playoff spot isnt gone>>>

Yeah I think he was fed by Ward or something for the tap in? I just know every Rangers goal was scored by a defensemen that game

Anyone know the percentage of us making the playoffs at this point? I remember there was a website that would show something like that. I can't imagine it being anything over 5% at this point

edit: found it:

http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NHL/E...c/Rangers.html

~ 15%. Higher than I thought

severe beating tonite.

gaborik or not wont matter. we could have 3 gaboriks and we would still lose

i expect this to be particulary ugly since we couldnt score more than 1 against nash

this season cannot end soon enough.

SELL

I'll never HOPE for a rangers loss, but i think this is the closest ive ever been to doing so.

If the Rangers drop these last two before the break they'll have to play at a 1.55 point per game click to get to 90 points for the season. I know many of us have already realized that its not going to happen. I'm just hoping against hope that Sather realizes it and does the right things to improve this club for next season.

Let's face it. Its over.

Tonights 5-1 drubbing will put the first nail in the coffin as far as im concerned.

Rangers are heading to the Igloo to kick some ass and chew some bubble gum. And they're all out of ass kickin'.

Pens 5 Rangers 1.

Its funny how so many teams put their backup in against the Rangers.

Yet another sign that this team should be sellers and not buyers. Smart'en up GLEN!
