beat the rush, hate the redwing players before they're even redwings...Ads play the griffins tonight after a great performance last night against Chicago...GR leading scorer is their top defenseman prospect Niklas Kronwall with 30 pts,now only 2 points ahead of Hutchinson for most by a dman in the league.....Ads now tied with Chicago at 49 points for 1st in the division going into this one

game getting ready to start...Grand Rapids only 1-8-1 in their last ten games, but they beat MIL 1-0 in only meeting

almost same lineups as last night, finley in net....upshall,pivko,brown injury scratches..klein scratched tonight, with tiley taking his spot in the lineup and paired up with suter

8 minutes in Bootland jumped tootoo and started throwing before toots could drop the gloves, bootland gets a 5 minute, toots 2...

Bootland runs down Tootoo....didn't sound like Tootoo wanted to go.....apparently not much of a fight. Bootland gets 5 minutes for fighting, Tootoo gets 2 minutes for roughing.

haydar on the 5-3 PP from Hammer and Hutch on the PP for 1-0

Tootoo scores 5 on 4 from the face off circle from Lundbom and Smitson for 2-0.

Burke Henry dances with Bootland with Henry getting the edge.

Robinson scores for the Griffins for 2-1 just before the end of the period.

Bootland is a piece of crap. His brother Nick plays for the Barons and is a total class act and works his tail off, but apparently the apple falls far from the tree in the Bootland family. Maybe it's his age too, I don't know. Darryl Bootland is the only player I actively hope to see get the crap beat out of him. Benoit Gratton was my player last season. Another big cheap-shot artist.

He Immidiatly joined my favorite player list then. Just a question, during this lockout most teams have reaired classic games, did the Preds re show the game from last year where you guys beat the Wings on the scoreboard and in the alley as well.

I got to watch it as well, God Bless the center ice package. Hopefully they settle this lockout because the last two years the Blues have done a bus trip to Nashville and those have been big fun. It would be better this year because I think Yabo has a chance to make the Preds.

you think those games were depressing?...last year 12 of us took a trip all the way to STL(right patty?) to see the preds lose meekly 4-1,now that was depressing...

but on a bright note,a year ago today we did beat the blues 3-1

I think this was a home game and if so I was there because I recall walking out of the game yelling "osgood...osgood...osgood...you suck!" while blues fans cringed.

Yes we did take that trip. The one good thing to come out of the trip was making new friends.

When the NHL gets back up and running, I wouldn't mind taking another road trip with most of those 12.
:lol

You think that is depressing? I went to the CBJ game up in Columbus where Timonen had on own goal and we lost to a very bad BJ's team.

i have to admit smokey, that Columbus game was the low point of the season last year...there was that timonen goal and one other one that was horrible, cann't remember what that one was(?)...of course right after that game is when we announced the acquisition of sullivan,so it kinda all got lost thank god

Yeah, I remember driving home to Volzok's (he frequents these boards) house and hearing either on HF or on the radio that the Preds had picked up Sullivan. The bad taste in my mouth was gone. Still, sitting there with all those CBJ fans while the Preds gave up some very weak goals was awful. But I'll lose to the BJ's every game if it means we get players like Sullivan for a small price AND we get in to the playoffs.
