Is 2012 a weak or strong draft year? May be it's like a 2nd compare to 2011 draft.

If this involves Frolov, and he trades Pacioretty and this year's 2nd rounder as reported by Twitter, I will be irate.

I don't want anything like that traded for a rental.

Yeah, he SHOULD be. Yet, in his 80+ games he's shown nothing more than being a 3rd liner.

You gotta give something to get something. And Frolov is a big something.

Ahhhh I still remember all the *****ing and moaning when we traded future superstar Josef Balej and a 2nd rounder for a rental....what was his name again? lol

Of all those selected in 2007 only 4 have played more then 100 games
Patches is one of the best selectees from that class and is a PWF it takes time, **** about trading him for Frolov, Josef Balej was a third round pick patches is a first rounder.

Pacioretty is 21 years old. If he stayed at Michigan, he would still be a Junior. Potential power forwards take longer to develop than strictly finess-talent players. Give the guy a chance before you write him off. If Frolov is so BIG, why is LA trying to get rid of him when they are in the hunt for a playoff spot for the first time in years?

It's not a 'news conference!' It's media availability, meaning he'll talk to reporters informally in a scrum.

News conference means a formal statement at a desk or podium followed by moderated Q and A.

Because maybe they know that he does not want to re-sign there??? And unlike Mr.Gainey, maybe Lombardi doesn't like letting his UFA's just walk away when he can get some assets for him?

That thought ever cross your mind? #67 is another over-hyped Montreal prospect. May as well move him now until he starts declining like Higgins did.

Off-topic. What a great looking avatar. I have that fan card signed front and back by Big Jean himself. Mailed a letter to him when I was a kid and received it a couple of weeks later. They did it for all of their players. Do the Habs still do that?

Thanks, one of my favourite pics. Too bad teams don't do promo shots like that anymore. Met Gentleman Jean last May. So classy. There should be more Jean Beliveaus in this world...
